So, I have removed the knckered gear knob as far as I can. The leather and plastic underneath it came off easy. Still cannot get remaining metal part off.
I have heated it up, twisted it in both directions until it starts to twist the actual stem, stared at it (willing it to come off) and it still will not budge.
My only thought is that it has been threadlocked or superglued on.

Any ideas? I have been through old threads on here and tried everything bar replacing the stem.
