I want change my current brake system. I'm hesitating between a brembo rotors and pads package or a Skyline GTR front brake system (calipers and rotors). Which gives the best improvement? Thanks. Stephane

Recently, holes have popped up on both my exhausts so its finally time for the full stainless. I know what style i want and i know where im going to get it but just needed to know one thing. Should i lose the middle boxes? Will it be too loud with them removed? I want it louder but not stupid loud. Want to emphasise the V6 sound. Cheers Scott

ok, came of m1 today onto a dualy, booted it in third (92 manual tt j spec)took her up to about 6250 - 6300 rpm and she seemed to loose a bit of power and splutter slightly, went on to around 6450 - 6500 and seemed to pick back up again on to 7000 odd, didn't dare go much further. Looked in rear view mirror and saw a small amout of brownish smoke, is she slightly chocked up with carbon  I know she has a kph - mph convertor and delimiter but don't know if she's been chipped any ideas guys ?

So just when I think I've managed to fix my coolant leak, I try to get under the bonnet to check the coolant level again before going out for a run to test it properly and the bonnet release just pulls out with no resistance at all. I've searched and it looks like the best thing to do is to see if the cable's broken under the dash or at the catch and hope it's under the dash. What's the easiest way to find that out? At least I have a JWT air filter, so if I have to come up from underneath, I have a chance of sorting it.

Anyone know how much this would cost? I heard if you leave the rear-wheel steering connected and want to lower the car this can cause probs....this right? Cheers, DAN

Here I go asking for a favour  I am having ongoing boost problems with the car and I was wondering if there are any members in the North West or anyone that is attending Trax that has access to Consult. I am getting code 55 on ECU but for some reason the car still isn't playing fair  I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out :) :)

Hi Chaps Thanks to you all for the advise on my valuation. Now Can anyone help me find a solenoid for a Blitz Dual Solenoid Boost Controller, Ive got the control unit but no solenoid, I am told by amber performance that BLitz will not supply spares without a purchase receipt, the only receipt I have got is from the guy I bought it from and that obviously wont do. Any advise on where I could get one?

I ordered some new injector connectors from Z1 and they are the correct shape but the wires are different. On the connectors there are a thick and a thin wire but they are swapped over on the new connectors. How are they wired? Does it matter if I connect the thick to the thin one or should I cross them over so what might be a positive wire is going to the negative... Chris.

I have a mechanical HKS oil pressure gauge and I noticed today that whilst accelerating especially on boost the gauge dipped down about 1 bar let off the pedal and it creeps back up to 3 - 4 bar.. :( I've never noticed this before now and I'm sure it ain't right. It rises and falls as it should do at idle and reads about 1.5 - 2 bar at idle when fully warm... The standard gauge reads normal however it did fall to zero the other day but I put this down to maybe the sensor going faulty, but with noticing the effect of my mechanical gauge I'm now quite concerned. There are no oil leaks and the engine doesn't smoke, I was thinking maybe the oil pump i…

Cheers, a Confused Dave

Hi guys having a few probs with my car, and am reluctant to take it to Nissan as they will charge but prob not fix!!! Figured the first step was a Conzult, but don't really want to splash out £265 for the amount of use it will get. Does anyone in NE have one I could borrow?? Alternatively does anyone in teh NE want to group together to buy a pool one?? (Sorry if this is bad practice Danny!!!! :D ). Cheers Rich
