Just about to do my first oil change on my 300TT. The car is supposed to have only done 12K and seems to be genuine. Ive just bought some Morris multilife fully sythetic, 10W50, does this make for good 300 tt oil as nissan only recommend a semi? My main concern is that the rocker/sump gaskets may suddenly leak as a result of how thin the synthetic is. Are there any leak issues on the 300, as some of my other cars have developedf small leaks in these areas after using synthetic. Any help would be great.

Today (Saturday) about 18:30. My girlfriend just phoned me, panicking, telling me that she'd just seen my car drive past with someone else driving it. Strange, I thought, as I was sat outside my house in my Z trying to figure out the connections on my turbo timer when she called

Chaps, the standard 13cm speakers that are in the car, what shape is the standard grill that covers the door panel? On mine it looks a bit bizarre, its got Pioneer g1316s which are pretty awful but the grill is round with a bit off to left making it more the 6*9 shape, bizarre when the speakers a round one? Can anyone recommend some 'decent' 13cm speakers and has anyone got any of these grills if they are standard cos the guy who put the ones in on mine has really hacked it. Ive got a Kenwood 7080R if that helps with the speak hifi combo... Thanks, Rob

Damn! Started last night and is still doing it today. When i press the accelerator the revs dip slightly before rising. If the car is at idle and i just tap the pedal the revs clearly drop by a few hundred rpm. No problems at higher revs, just when i start to press the accelerator. Whats going on there then?

Futher to my other thread " rear wheel hub's" Been told by MR F. you can replace the studs in the flanges, rather that get new flanges thought that this might be the way ahead :p , anybody attempted this or can anybody confirm weather this is true or not! Basiclly he said that the studs have a splice in them and get pulled into the flange the first time that the wheel is put on and the nuts are done up, and as 4 out of the 5 sheared off yesturday whilst driving  , which was very un-nurving i might add  ( new under ware and drivers seat now required, so anybody got a good deal going on pm me, not for the underware thought. lol ) going to …

anyone clued up on these? ive installed one and it needs to be hooked to a speed pulse so being an import the delimiter is ok, but when i wire it up via one of the wires that goes to the delimiter i lose speedo and steering is heavy, i have read all the posts re hicas and speedo, but cant understand why tapping into that wire would cause it, my question is for anybody in the know, is it possible to fit another speed pulse?? ive tried moving to the other wire in the delimiter but then the sat nav wont calibrate ie doesnt know where i am via the gps, going to move it back to the other wire today, as i didnt calibrate it on that as i assumed cos the speedo etc…

I know this is in the wrong section, but I was paid a visit by some local socially deprived individuals today, who I dare say didn't mean to do what they did to my car, but society has left them no choice. In short, I need a new tailgate window. If anyone has any going, then please do drop me a line. Am willing to take the whole tailgate if it is black, but given the looks and comments I am going to get at a certain nationwide glass centre, any colour will do! Thanks in advance. Phil.

Finally got rid of the horrible squeeky noise from the dashboard area. Its been there for over a year and has driven me up the wall. Turned out, it was the battery holder thingy. The pin at the back was too long and was rubbing underneath the plasticy bit at the bottom of the windscreen. The bottom bit of the pin was loose aswell and was rubbing against the bulkhead. Didnt even look loose. I just noticed it when i gave it a shake. Swapped the pins around, tightened it up correctly and the squeek has gone. Well pleased now!!!

Anyone with an Oscilliscope fancy meeting up so I can get my ECU on it and try to see why my emulator address watch isn't working? Think the processor is 8MHz, but I'm guessing bus speed is less than that.

Hi guys, I've just had some work done on my Z and have found the clock doesnt work at all and neither do the retractable mirrors. Do these run off the same fuse? Or does their wiring both go through the centre console and somethings been dislodged? Thanks for any help. Dave.
