Is it road legal to have neon lights inside the car turned on at night, lit up like this : remember im only talking about the inside. i know about the undercars being illeagal even tho i heard that some colours are legal

hi all i got a big problem my battery is dead on my zed and the doors are not unlocking but the car has been de locked and de handled and there is no keys for the car as it doesnt need them beacuse of the remote start and cut off so any ideas on how to get in the car would be great cheers

Well folks, after much thought recently the car will be going for an engine rebuild with Andy Duff. Andy sourced parts for me from z1 and sent me the information on everything required with forged pistons etc. So i am just waiting to hear back from him on the final gasket sizes etc to get. He will be rebuilding an engine he alreayd has so that i can just take my car down to him and just have the engines swopped over, and he is able to do it basically ASAP for me and have it done and back to me before the 19th august which is when i go on holiday..........as you can guess im extremely excited. Hes been a great guy and very very very helpful and comes highly recommende…

I've cut the hole in the dash above the audio/heater surround, however I can't get the fibreglass gauge mount to sit flat. I've had a good look at it and the hole doesn't seem to be stopping it from sitting correctly, I'm wondering if the gauge mount is warped. I've tried calling Luke at Zcentre but he's away until the 27th. Can fibreglass warp? Is there anything I can do or do I just have to wait for Luke to get back? Any advice would be appreciated. cheers dave

Tried gluing them in but made a mess of it, think im going to have them done by someone else. I have grinded them down to size, sprayed them up and attached mesh to them, the adhesive I used (seriouse stuff) took to long to dry and dried white, diddnt have the patience to sit their and wait to dry, will post pics up when complete.

Brake pipes are always an issue at MOT time but its good to be sure they are ok in-between MOT's also, a sudden loss of brake fluid and very poor foot pedal on this zed was quickly traced to a very corroded rear pipe that had just let go. Interestingly it and the other pipes seem to have corroded much worse where the fixing clips are, for some odd reason the normal pipe anti corrosion coating is not applied at these points, so for that reason alone this particular points need inspection more frequently. As it happens the rest of the pipes also need changing to put this right, a fair bit of wedge when its not expected, oh well to joys of zeds eh ? Jeff TT

Looking at some new rims front 18 x 8.5 et30 and rears 18 x 9.5 et30. I think the front will be ok but the rears will need spacers. Paul

My car started doing this coincidally after the fitment of a Profec-B boost controller, which I thought was down to a hiccup in the wiring up of this piece of kit. However after disconnecting it from its power source, I still have the problem. any ideas chaps ??

Good news, I managed to pick her up early, and she's now parked in her new home. It's raining buckets here in Coventry at the minute, so pics are all indoor shots at the moment, in crap lighting, but I'll have better shots in a couple of days. I'm gonna wait till after USC to MOT her, or I'll just have that expense every year right at the wrong time next year, so I'm using my head, not my heart, and putting back the expected "On Road" date to sometime around the 2nd week of August. is there any way of tightening the boot so it doesnt rattle when my subs are booming?

Anyone know the spline diameter of the wheel studs? Ive done a Z32 rear hub conversion on my 200SX and need longer studs. The S14s use 14.3mm on the front, but a different 12.9mm spline on the rear. Are the Z32s the same or are they 14.3mm all round? Cheers :)
