Ok I'm picking up my zed in about ten days, and she's been well looked after, but has sat in a garage for the last 18 months. Do these cars have any issues, after sitting for so long? The engine's not much of a concern, as it's only 3 years old, but obviously it's gonna get a look over, are there any areas I need to pay particular attention to? Cheers :duffer:

I'll hopefully be there on the weekend of Aug 7/8/9 whilst visiting the Old Timers Grand Prix ( an ironic yet actual title for the event). Taking the Zed and of course it'll be so much quicker with newly painted bumpers, polished alloys and that new rear spoiler...................... If anyone's out there give us a shout. Last yeat not another Zed in Germany it seemed.

Finally sorted my hesitsting and nearly stalling issues out. Found out that the rubber seal was missing between the nose panel and front bumper, water was dripping onto my air filter, took my air filter and AFM off, sprayed some engine cleaner into the AFM, cleaned my air filter using the KaN cleaning kit and replaced, I then got some perspex and cut to shape to fit under the nose panel so that any water that did manage to get under their would drip beyond my airfilter, car is now running smooth even when its been raining, well chuffed.

Dilemma....but think i have made my decission. Ok folks, as use all kn ow i bought stellaz car knowing i had to do something with the engine. My first plan was just to go for a replacemet engine from jeff at zedworld as the engines go through a strict amount of tests before being decalared safe to be put in the car. Then people started going on about rebuilds and i started to swing that way..... But i think i have my answer.....at the moment the zed should be running around 346bhp at fly and 286 at the wheels, which im more than happy with as speed and thats on a standard engine....So i think i am going to go for the replacement engine from jeff and lo…

Got around to starting to sort out a few bits and pieces for bringing the Z up to scratch again, and instead of having one headlight blown, its actually both of them. Obviously my first thought was bulbs when it was one, as the nearside went first, but I checked the bulbs and the filament seems intact. My next thought was it must be the relay, so I swopped the dims relay for the other one in the fuse box which is the same, (cant remember what it was for), but that didnt make a difference. Now I'll try getting bulbs anyway but I think its too much of a coincidence that 2 bulbs would blow in such a short timescale together. I'm just wondering is there anything else it could…
