I think the battey on the yellow Z is dead, I've just tried the silver one and thats dead too. So I'm on the look out for a battery, what do you recommend. Looking for the best price for a normal high powered one and a dry sell, either would have to run a large sound system at some point

  5. On two occasions when the Z tried to accelerate on the ice track one wheel was spinning. I thought all Z`s had slippers. If the diff was knackered then that would explain why a manual twin turbo was available for £1500. Or am I completely wrong here?

Can anyone tell me what the normal oil pressure should be? I have fitted an aftermarket guage and it reads 30psi on tickover when warm but goes to 100psi when reved to about 4k and above which is as high as it will read. The reason for asking is that I have an oil leak from what appears to be the rear crank oil seal which I replaced when carrying out a manual conversion not many miles ago. If the car is left ticking over, it doesnt leak however when I drive it or rev it high, the rear crank seal leaks. The oil then goes all over the gearbox, exhaust etc. Is 100psi normal as I dont want to go through replacing the rear oil seal again if it wont cure the problem? Any help a…

Hi guys Fitting the passenger door card, noticed there must be some kind of threaded fitting which holds the top of the interior handle to the door. The trouble is the bodyshop must have removed the fitting when they sprayed them. Only found it was missing after fitting all the rest of the door parts. Would any one have a quality picture on the inside of a door so i can see what the fitting looks like? Regards Kev

Ok I'm picking up my zed in about ten days, and she's been well looked after, but has sat in a garage for the last 18 months. Do these cars have any issues, after sitting for so long? The engine's not much of a concern, as it's only 3 years old, but obviously it's gonna get a look over, are there any areas I need to pay particular attention to? Cheers :duffer:

I'll hopefully be there on the weekend of Aug 7/8/9 whilst visiting the Old Timers Grand Prix ( an ironic yet actual title for the event). Taking the Zed and of course it'll be so much quicker with newly painted bumpers, polished alloys and that new rear spoiler...................... If anyone's out there give us a shout. Last yeat not another Zed in Germany it seemed.

  21. Finally sorted my hesitsting and nearly stalling issues out. Found out that the rubber seal was missing between the nose panel and front bumper, water was dripping onto my air filter, took my air filter and AFM off, sprayed some engine cleaner into the AFM, cleaned my air filter using the KaN cleaning kit and replaced, I then got some perspex and cut to shape to fit under the nose panel so that any water that did manage to get under their would drip beyond my airfilter, car is now running smooth even when its been raining, well chuffed.

Dilemma....but think i have made my decission. Ok folks, as use all kn ow i bought stellaz car knowing i had to do something with the engine. My first plan was just to go for a replacemet engine from jeff at zedworld as the engines go through a strict amount of tests before being decalared safe to be put in the car. Then people started going on about rebuilds and i started to swing that way..... But i think i have my answer.....at the moment the zed should be running around 346bhp at fly and 286 at the wheels, which im more than happy with as speed and thats on a standard engine....So i think i am going to go for the replacement engine from jeff and lo…
