Does anyone know, or have seen a switch panel converted to one shot lowering for the passenger side? I know the rocker switches are different size, but is the main switch itself the same size as the driver's one? I am just considering the possibility of converting the passenger window switch to a one shot like the drivers' side.

Drivers side window issues? the window power amp controller has a habit of failing leading to an intermittent or non working window, lucky it is a very easy fix and free to boot if you can use a soldering iron. The unit in question is fitted in the drivers door, it is held in place with a single 10m bolt and has one 8 way connector plugged in to it, roughly just off central towards the rear of the door. Once removed the outer case needs easing off the lower connector area, the internal part then slides out in one piece. Photo 1 shows the internal parts of the unit and the pcb its all mounted on removed from the outer case, the two relays to the left are th…

Hi I need to upgrade my brakes and would like to know if this set is any good! This set is a big brake kit from Revolution Brake LLC. Price is $800 dollars + shipping. The set includes: ROTORS, 323mm diameter, 30mm thick (about 12 3/4" x .1.18") curved vane directional, cross drilled. The curved vanes are designed to pump air through the rotors as they rotate for superior cooling in high performance driving conditions. The huge thermal mass and cooling efficiency of these rotors virtually eliminates brake fade. These are 43 mm larger in diameter than the little stock rotors!!! CALIPERS, Wilwood forged Superlite four piston fixed mount. These calipe…

Righto, I'm looking at buying a ZX, at a very good price in need of some work. I'm told it was imported at 86k, and now has 97 showing. Now the way that I took it, is that there are 86k km (53 or so k Miles) plus 11k miles, not that it's now showing 97k Miles. Am I right in thinking this? Normally when you convert an import, you make it register miles, but you can't change the existing? Or is it at all likely that they would have wound it back to 50k when they converted it? if the first, could mean I'm in for even more of a bargain once it's fixed up

Just wondering what would people regard as the items required changing in a standard full service, as in the 100,000km mark, cause I want to do one to mine for peace of mind. I was thinking all belts, pulleys, tensioners, waterpump, flushing brake system, engine oil and filter, auto transmission oil and filter, and fitting idrium long life spark plugs. Is there anything I am missing regarding a 300zx? Also what engine and auto transmission oil is recommended? I presume like most Jap cars of the era that the engine oil will be 10W40 semi-synthetic, and that the transmission oil needs to be D111 rated? Thanks.

We've been working for quite long time making a couple of new products for the 300ZX: Rear bumper and rear bumper with diffuser. Both are currently designed for the 2+0 (swb) version only, but we already have a 2+2 (lwb) waiting for surgery ;) We're very happy on how things turned out after all the hard work we have put in this project...We are doing our best effort to make this products available in the US and Europe sooner than expected. In the US we got lots of dealers asking to sell our products, but now the search for a dealer in Europe starts, since we weren't lucky last time we tried...As you already know "someone" copied our front bumper (version 1) and …

Does anyone know how good the rust proofing is on an import? Are there ways of getting the car treated to resist rust, especially the underside?

Can i run a TT gearbox, TT clutch and TT flywheel with an NA engine? I have an NA, but i'm in the process of having a TT engine rebuilt. I recently bought a TT gearbox because my current box is a bit sticky. The plan was to put the box in with the engine, but the TT engine wont be ready for months and i need the box replaced now. I was going to buy a Z1 TT clutch and fly, if this will work with the NA engine i'll buy it just now.

Some of you may remember this: It was a neglected Z I bought that hadn't seen the road for 6 years... well I've been beavering away at it for the past couple of months getting a new engine fitted etc. But anxious to be back behind the wheel of a powerful car I weighed it all up how much extra I'd have to spend getting this one on the road and made an executive decision. So yesterday, I set out on a 6 hour round trip across the country to pick up my new Z. I bought it from Nicodemus off the forum and what a spot on chap he was. So a little about the car: 1992 UK spec Twin Turbo manual... red.. totally standard with the exception of…
