Just before I go off an order some bits, just wanted to check I got this as right as I think I have. My car has a single exit, which doesn't look that good, sounds great but is to loud for long trips. So as far as I can see, the car appears to have de-cats already fitted, and to them is bolted a "Y" piece. I take it an "H" section (for a SWB obviously) would bolt on to the de-cats and then it's just a case of having some back boxes made up? Heres some pics and a video of the system plus the rust I found which shouldn't be too hard to sort out. DRIVERS SIDE JUST BEHIND REAR WHEEL: PASSENGERS SIDE JUST BEHIND REAR WHEEL:

Ok guys......a route my arm is slightly being twisted towards is the engine rebuild. Was just wondering if any you guys have had this done? Who done it? Where abouts? and if you dont mind a rough price for the work? Is it worth getting t28 turbos or just new standard turbos? prices of them? Just curious to what you guys and gals have had done. Craig

Hello. Well as you all know i purchased my zed from stella knowing its needing a new engine anyways. today the knocking got slightly louder(harder) and i think its over fueling as it is very very strong when driving the car, so i think its time to get some help and get it into a garage for work. Have been trying to contact JeffTT, completely understand you are busy and select the e-mails and pms you answer back to, but would be very grateful if you could check the date i asked for in the pm and get back to me so that it can be booked in and i know where i stand. IN the meantime........does anybody have any info..companies etc that may be of help with the…

Hi guys, I'm trying to find out what pressure the NA/TT power steering rack puts out through those metal pipes front and back. I only ask as i'm looking at replacing them with areoquip connectors and hoses but they're only rated to to a certain pressure? If anyone knows or could find out pretty sharpish as i need the pipes making up to get the subframe in and ultimately the V8 engine in. If i can't use aeroquip it means waiting another week for the engineer to get back. Cheers, Nick

Well the 300 was a little dirty when I picked it up, and I've not had the time to do anything about it until today, well yesterday now lol. Cleans up pretty well, but due to the body needing some tidying and some welding, it's gonna get worse before it gets better.......

And who can supply me with the parts/expertise I may need ? The only thing I can think of is converting the speedo. Where can I get the necessary bits or can anyone recommend an expert ? Anything else ? All advice very much appreciated. Mark (Topless) is Martyn still working on Zeds ? He was my nearest Zed mechanic....... Mark

Hi All, trying to fit a Momo wheel, the boss has the copper looking ring around the bottom to connect (rub) to the car, but there is some plastic device on my car that will not "rub" on the Momo boss. What is the way to get the horn connections to work? Do I have to buy another part or moidify the original? Thanks

Does anyone know, or have seen a switch panel converted to one shot lowering for the passenger side? I know the rocker switches are different size, but is the main switch itself the same size as the driver's one? I am just considering the possibility of converting the passenger window switch to a one shot like the drivers' side.

Drivers side window issues? the window power amp controller has a habit of failing leading to an intermittent or non working window, lucky it is a very easy fix and free to boot if you can use a soldering iron. The unit in question is fitted in the drivers door, it is held in place with a single 10m bolt and has one 8 way connector plugged in to it, roughly just off central towards the rear of the door. Once removed the outer case needs easing off the lower connector area, the internal part then slides out in one piece. Photo 1 shows the internal parts of the unit and the pcb its all mounted on removed from the outer case, the two relays to the left are th…

Hi I need to upgrade my brakes and would like to know if this set is any good! This set is a big brake kit from Revolution Brake LLC. Price is $800 dollars + shipping. The set includes: ROTORS, 323mm diameter, 30mm thick (about 12 3/4" x .1.18") curved vane directional, cross drilled. The curved vanes are designed to pump air through the rotors as they rotate for superior cooling in high performance driving conditions. The huge thermal mass and cooling efficiency of these rotors virtually eliminates brake fade. These are 43 mm larger in diameter than the little stock rotors!!! CALIPERS, Wilwood forged Superlite four piston fixed mount. These calipe…

Righto, I'm looking at buying a ZX, at a very good price in need of some work. I'm told it was imported at 86k, and now has 97 showing. Now the way that I took it, is that there are 86k km (53 or so k Miles) plus 11k miles, not that it's now showing 97k Miles. Am I right in thinking this? Normally when you convert an import, you make it register miles, but you can't change the existing? Or is it at all likely that they would have wound it back to 50k when they converted it? if the first, could mean I'm in for even more of a bargain once it's fixed up
