Oh, so it's been a while since we had an insurance roundup. I've just had a very impressive quotation from Lyndbrook who I'll be changing my insurance to next month saving me £200+ on my existing policy. I go from having unlimited mileage to a limit of 5k a year, which is no biggy as I do about that anyway, in fact, I probably do 3,000 a year. So, let's have every one's age, the state of their licence/no claims, what you're paying, what you get and who you're with. Funkysi: 30 : 91 JDM TT: Full no claims + clean licence. basicly ive had big problems with wiring up my stereo, most of the origional wires had been cut etc and replaced with otherones, i found that the switched live wire was the one from the cigarette lighter.... i had the radio working but then went to wire up my under seat neons the the same live and must have blown something. The fuses have been checked and are fine, but the cigarette lighter or my stereo doesnt work, possibly something stopping the switchable live, being live! any ideas what else it could be ???

Curious. 5 years or so ago, it was was understood that there were a high percentage of Auto's to Manuals in the UK, as the manuals were harder to find and more sought after a couple of years later, polls showed that Manuals had the slight edge compared to Auto. ...how about these days ? If you have a Auto converted to Manual, then choose Manual.

Looked at how to repair and come to the conclusion mine has had it. Pins have burnt out and the one on the "z32 how to" looks different to mine. Where is a cheap place to buy one of these, as i know members have bought one for £5 - £10 all in. Where did you get them? Thanks Damo

I've almost finished my manwell conversion, woohoo! But... Does anyone know where to connect the neutral switch on the gearbox to? I've read that you can leave it disconnected, but if it should go somewhere, I'll do it.... Cheers....

I am now struggling to decide what colour to spray my Z, I was going to go for a red, purple and blue flip paint or a kandy wine red. But I aint sure any more. I also like a metallic purple. At the moment I am open to all colours and would like to see some pics of your favourite coloured Z

Ok guys my MOT is going to be due in august but my engine is knocking....i t hink this would stop it from passing an mot am i right........couple of light problems also that i think would fail the mot and also........windscreen jets not working...could i fail an mot due to this? Think im just over reacting as i have these niglay problems so close to MOT time.

Ok........;UK version TT here. filled up my screenwash today and its not working, cant even hear the motor. this is probably one for stella(has it been removed?) Rear lights on the centre panel of the car....reverse lights are working...what are the other 2 lights? These are not coming on no matter what button i press.lol. Front left headlight is fine on dip beam then when i put to normal lights for driving the light still stays as a dip beam. And this oviously also has a knock on effect for my full beam? Is it to bulbs to the dip beam? possible problem?

Picked it up yesterday, drove it back to Essex in the pouring rain (no leaks, just a couple of small sideways moments) and I'm LOVING it!! hi ive now replaced my loom with a new one , very good now i have a problem found that the garage that had my 300 butchered the connectors and now i need to replace some of them, im looking for both 02 sensor connections to loom, dett sensor connector to loom, and both valve timing control selonoid connections to loom , i would apreciate if some one could help me please...

1992 na manual,have to put cats back on car but last owner didnt buy decat pipes i know this will be expensive to correct but has to be done as fails mot on emissions there are ways around that but anyway with cats back on will the car operate the same o2 sensors still in place

Before getting my car mapped and the boost increased, is it a good idea to replace the fuel pump, either a new standard one or an upgraded one, my pump is good but is it worth changing?

Hi guys, After turning my house upside down I've come to the conclusion that I may have lost my folder containing all info on my car (log book, previous MOT's, servicing, parts, everything :( ) The most annoying thing is that I'm currently prepping the car to sell! Obviously i can get a new log book and ive rung the last garage i used which can supply me all recent work they've done (MOT, tyres and a few other bits). hi all i need help. I have been told so many things about what oil to put in my 300z tt at the mo i have full synthetic 5w40 mobil 1 in it and i have been told its 2 thin and i need to put in 10w60 and am running standard turbos at mo but can some one help me on what is best thanks

Just popped the lids off my boot speakers and these were in there. Not really impressed with them that's why I wanted to see what they were(stock or not) there's a clarion amp in there my question is ...if they're running through this and the signal wire had not been connected when changing these over would these work at all or would they be just quiet? They seem quiet for the output rating so I have a feeling there is no signal wire connected to the clarion amp as I believe these have to be connected when changing over head units from stock or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Can anyone help me i have just bought new pair of bucket seats for my 300zx. And need new sub frames for them were do i get them from ??? Or how do i fit them im stumpt.:cry:
