Would this make a difference in the running of the car if both gaskets were shot?

Hi all, I'm going to sell the Zed, as I haven't used her yet this year! She is an H reg TT Auto LWB in black with black leather, about 80k, and loads of nice servicing done including regular oil changes and timing belt service. Just had a secondary oil cooler put in too. I know it probably doesn't add much to the price but she is sitting on brand new KYB adjustable gas dampers and eibach springs, brand new drilled and grooved discs with red stuff pads at the front, braided hoses, new tension rod bushes etc etc. Nice smooth ride, not crashed or thrashed! I've been looking in Autotrader and the prices seem to go from under £2000, which seems too little, up to…

This is probably going to sound like a really dumb question, especially as I've been here so long and own Eliza for five and a half years now, but..... What type is the turbo charger? I've seen it written as a T24 and a T25! I know it's a Garratt, but not sure on type :D Thank you Dave

Im curious on peoples thoughts. Personally i dont know if the engine would hold out and if the handling would be good. The only proper Zed drift car I saw was one being crashed on a youtube vid lol

I have had the car off the road since Febuary. Just started her up and the engine ran for about 20 seconds and then slowly stopped. Trying to restart, sounds like it wants to start but won't. Since it's been off the road i have changed the plugs, cam belt, water pump, radiator, oil, fuel filter, oil filter, removed hicas and A/C and fited underdrive pulleys and new belts. My gut feeling is that it is not electrical, and that there is no fuel getting to the engine. Does any one know how to check the pump is working? I disconnected the filter and there was a bit of fuel in it. Turning the engine over with the fillter off, no fuel pumped out - should it?:(

Hi All Jap auto tt Not sure whether related.. did an emergency type stop this evening.. all fine and drove off..however my boost gauge is reading 0. Was fine before reading in both minus and plus as expected. When the car is turned off the gauge drops to -7, start again and it centres and stays there. Idles ok, seems to run ok. Im a little new to the z so would appreciate any ideas/info Regards Daz

well most people hate it but i like it, think it makes the car look alot better with it on kept feeling like it just wasnt quite right when it was on. so the wing is back lol still to get the sides painted but my paints on order so have to wait. be nice si lol

steering was fine, replaced me pas pot with the powdercoated one done all the bleed prosedures ect but me steering is heavy now :headvswal any ideas PLEASE? dan.:(

Just before I go off an order some bits, just wanted to check I got this as right as I think I have. My car has a single exit, which doesn't look that good, sounds great but is to loud for long trips. So as far as I can see, the car appears to have de-cats already fitted, and to them is bolted a "Y" piece. I take it an "H" section (for a SWB obviously) would bolt on to the de-cats and then it's just a case of having some back boxes made up? is it possible to convert a LH drive car RH drive? and if it is how much would it cost to do this job?

Ok guys......a route my arm is slightly being twisted towards is the engine rebuild. Was just wondering if any you guys have had this done? Who done it? Where abouts? and if you dont mind a rough price for the work? Is it worth getting t28 turbos or just new standard turbos? prices of them? Just curious to what you guys and gals have had done. Craig

Well as you all know i purchased my zed from stella knowing its needing a new engine anyways. today the knocking got slightly louder(harder) and i think its over fueling as it is very very strong when driving the car, so i think its time to get some help and get it into a garage for work. Have been trying to contact JeffTT, completely understand you are busy and select the e-mails and pms you answer back to, but would be very grateful if you could check the date i asked for in the pm and get back to me so that it can be booked in and i know where i stand.
