Anyone know where i can pick up a decent looking one, was after a biggun, but not ott, something that suits the car well but gives it the racing type look. Thanks :) (there is a guy on here(sorry cant remember the name) with a blue Zed and his rear spoiler is the type of thing i would want, its in his avatar picture)

Hi people, don't know if anyone may be able to help on this one but i'm having some strange problems with a JDM TT i bought last week. The tacho "jumps" sometimes say from 2,000 to 3,000rpm, but what's more worrying is i hit the limit yesterday while tacho showed 3000rpm?! it does also tickover high sometimes, especially when you use the heater? Anyways any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks........

Hi all, I spotted a nice looking black 300zx, most probably a UK spec and possibly on a private plate (not much help, am I?) in Beaconsfield on Sunday afternoon (12th). It was on the Penn Road just outside the New Town - Z was heading into Beaconsfield and I was in a silver Rav-4 heading towards Penn. I flashed my lights as we passed - but as I wasn't in my Z you probably thought I was just a bit mad........;) Richard:D

How do you turn the rear fogs on in a uk zed? I have a jap zed, with 99 spec rears wired to have fogs. For now i have a shitty little switch to turn on the rear fogs. So, how do they turn on in a uk zed? I'm basically looking for a tidy 'stock like' way of turning them on. cheers Scott

after a few months of a quite loud hissing/ sucking noise , found both sides a i v s under both front wheel arches [, behind arch liner ] on testing found they would not hold vacume , on sucking the small pipes pipes from a i v solinoid . my ? can i do away with these units , what do you guys do when you decat with straight through pipes , from tubs,and would removal affect M O T co2 test

Hi peeps, just finished rebuilding my mates auto gearbox and wondered how many of you guys have seen whats inside one so i thought i'd post some pictures... inside main case showing (from left to right) accumulator pistons a,b,c,d and brake band servo. control valve assy. clutch assys as they would be in the case with oil pump on top. case after shot blast and paint. finished and ready to rock.

hopefully the picture works as took it from a for sale thread.... anyway i have exact same ones at home, just wondered how they fit as there is no room to put them in etc, obv if other people have them im doing something wrong, i had taken out the oil cooler and the fan so i had all the room for messing about in there but where the actual pipes attache it seems impossible.. Thanks (also hope the guy whos photo i nicked doesnt mind :-)

Ok folks........... Just as there has been a couple questions on if i will change my nose panel i thought i would start this thread....Im not the fussed about the nose panel to be truth fully honest.....but does anybody have an idea as in how much mines is worth?? I would like to know what everyones favour nose panel are...with pictures to back it up.

Hi all, OK....... If you have bov's fitted (dump valves) and the spring rating is too high for the boost pressure to vent the valves (in the bov's), would this be bad for the tubs/engine etc. Al.

c'mon people, its been set up to give the members more interaction with the club, lets get involved and get nominatiing, isaac (zxeyes) will spend a lot of his own time setting this up, the least yhou could do is nominate someone or when its sorted at least take the time to quickly tick a box and vote get involved or it wont happen anymore p.s, there will also be a twist this month but im not supposed to say

My mechanic has taken it for a spin, he says he can here a slight rattle from passenger side tub whilst driving, could this be? The boost still goes to 1 bar fine and still pulls ok, I cant hear anything, I had a smoke leak test done and he says he can see smoke comming from both tubs but passenger one side more than the other, Its booked in to have the manifold/turbo gaskets replaced, hes going to have a better look then, the turbos I have are jwt530bb tubs which have only done a few thousand miles, I hope my tubs are ok.

ive had my volt tester on the car. i tested the loom in the engine bay where it meets each of the injectors (i have removed the standard yellow connectors as were full of the green gunk, and replaced with speaker spades) they both showing 12+ at the loom, when connected to the injectors :eek: disconnected the loom from the injectors, then tested again, one of them shows 12+, the other shows 0 (when engine off) as should :) then the negative wire shows -8ish (fluctuates) then when turning over. as should :) ive tested the wires at the ECU also, and results are same as above. (test was done by posotive terminal on battery, then …

When importing parts from the US is there anyway of knowing or working out just how much import tax and additional charges i would be forced to pay when receiving my items. I know its sometimes just a chance you take , sometimes you can get away without being charged others your not so lucky but ive heard people saying that if you get the sender to mark on it as being a gift or marking the value down then you're more likely to get away with it, is this true , or is there any other ways around it. I dont want to spend a couple thousand dollars then get hit with monster import fees to collect from local post office. :mad:
