It's now looking very likely the turbo seals have gone on the passenger side turbo, and as it's an engine out jobby, which I don't wanna do too often, I might as well upgrade the turbos, while I'm there. Which turbos are the best to fit, (considering power gains/cost)? Would I need to upgrade the standard intercooler, or fuel pump? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated... Cheers

Hey Guys, before I go out and buy a new battery, can you help me make sure that this is the issue? I managed to flatten the battery the other day (forgot to turn the map light off :(). I got a couple of lads to push start the car, and off I went, car alarm blaring. Drove around for about 20 minutes to get some charge back into the battery, stopped and sorted out the alarm. Restarted and everything was fine. Went off up the M11 for 70 miles. Parked up at the festival and got *****xed :duffer::duffer: Tried the start the car this afternoon to come home, and battery is flat again. Got a jump start and came back to London. work on my z has slowed down to a snails pace just cant seem to get the incentive to get out in the shed and work on her anymore, so i thought i'd put up some pics see what you guys think so far. car has been stripped back to just about a bare shell, everyhing waxoiled, subframes powder coated and polybushes fitted everywhere needed.

Anybody ordered some parts from z1 before? has your parts been stopped in customs? How long did it take to get them? I know for under a $100 i think it doesnt goto customs but im putting in a pritty big order, so reckon its goini get stuck there. cheers

Seen this pic on the Nico Z forum, spot the obvious thing wrong with the pic: :slap: to which someone replied: "the Z symbol looks kinda awkward to me on the hood, isn't it supposed to be on the center panel?" then the owner put: "the 1990 300zx had them on the hood. Got a few questions regarding Z32 TT's What bhp do the injectors and airflow meters max out at?? Also whats the highest boost you can run on standard turbos and what kinda BHP?? As standard They are about 280 bhp so i read, So with a FMIC, Decent exhaust, Decent induction kit, De-cat and Boost controllor and a remap(have i missed anything??) what kinda power would you look at hitting?? What kinda power do Autoboxs handle in these cars?? Thanks in advance for any answers

Hi guys was wondering if theres any way i can check to c if my zeds chipped, ie is the ecu sealed, is it something i could do or would it need to be sent somewhere, and if i could ge into ecu would it be obvious if it had a "chip" in??

Just woundering if anyone's found any good insurers? I'm just 21, no NCB (no accidents and have had cars for 3 years solid, but am stupid and keep swapping cars and have switched insurance companies where my current one didnt insure a new car eg Admiral wouldn't insure my supra for less than £4k!) and 3 years driving. Hey folks im after a bit of help setting up my boost controller that ive just fitted. At the moment ive set the ratio to 47 and im boosting at about 12psi however from the posts i read about setting the gain it says to set it at 5 or 6. When i switch onto the gain adjustment on the Boost controller this goes between 0-100 so 5 or 6 seems a little low to me. Is it me being a mong with it? My spec is twin hks filters and mines ecu and its on a 92 lwb manual. Thanks for help in advance Marty

Ok, having a nose around whilst looking for the fusebox (still not found lol) I found the ecus, under the passenger footwell. Upon inspection, I see that mine has a sticker on it, with a big "AS", and "tuning by select" underneath. I've done a google search with no luck. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Cheers

Hi All, long time since I've posted and hope all are well! Unfortunatly my Pivot ball on the clutch fork has snapped and I'm wondering If anyone has succesfully managed to change it without removing the gearbox? It's clearly visible through the hole where the fork arm sticks out, I'm wondering if once the slave Cylinder is removed and fork pulled back if its achievable? I really cant be assed to remove the gearbox tomorrow! Cheers Andy

to get a zed. Its days like today, that make me wonder why i had driven other crud before. Me, daughter and girlfriend went to Eastbourne for the day. Sunshine, full tank of fuel, not much traffic. Targas off, nice roads. No issues, no funny noises from the engine, all is good. On way home, pull onto motorway behind a new scooby. from the corner of my eye, i can see my girlfriend is looking at me, I know shes thinking "dont you race him stu, your going to, but dont' Then the car in front of the scooby pulls aside, and he goes for it.... I was in my Z, waved as you were coming into Bristol from Gordano. Only caught a quick glimse, but you had what looked like a Strosek kit on there (non wide).

my car has started to misfire when ever i have my foot a liitle on the accelerator, when i put my foot further down it dissapears any idesas it bugs me when trying to stay at 30 :)

the car only has 1 horn, on the passanger side. there is no wire coming from the horn itself, not can i see anywhere by the steering wheel/ignition box for it to go to the steering wheel. i know the horn needs a 12+ just connected to it to work, how do i go about wiring it, run a wire from the horn push button in the steering wheel, to the horn relay box? then another wire from the box to the horn itself? or put a direct 12+ to it, but somehow put a wire inbetween going to the steering wheel? so its not on all the time?

Been on holiday the past couple of weeks, mrs is at work all day so been out since 8:00am washing, hoovering, t-cutting and waxing the Z. Just a couple of pics but the camera just doesnt pick up how clean it is.

Hi guy I hope you can stop me hating my 300zx.It won't start and there is no spark from any of the plugs.It had a series one ptu but I figured I should get the series 2 ptu to avoid the situation again. Can anyone tell me how to rewire my loom to take the series 2 ptu. I have series 2 connectors ready to be soldered on.Please help me :bowdown :bowdown
