Hi All, long time since I've posted and hope all are well! Unfortunatly my Pivot ball on the clutch fork has snapped and I'm wondering If anyone has succesfully managed to change it without removing the gearbox? It's clearly visible through the hole where the fork arm sticks out, I'm wondering if once the slave Cylinder is removed and fork pulled back if its achievable? I really cant be assed to remove the gearbox tomorrow! Cheers Andy

to get a zed. Its days like today, that make me wonder why i had driven other crud before. Me, daughter and girlfriend went to Eastbourne for the day. Sunshine, full tank of fuel, not much traffic. Targas off, nice roads. No issues, no funny noises from the engine, all is good. On way home, pull onto motorway behind a new scooby. from the corner of my eye, i can see my girlfriend is looking at me, I know shes thinking "dont you race him stu, your going to, but dont' Then the car in front of the scooby pulls aside, and he goes for it.... But im already for that, but stuck to the scooby like glue, going uphill for about a mile, he has to pull over and let…

the car only has 1 horn, on the passanger side. there is no wire coming from the horn itself, not can i see anywhere by the steering wheel/ignition box for it to go to the steering wheel. i know the horn needs a 12+ just connected to it to work, how do i go about wiring it, run a wire from the horn push button in the steering wheel, to the horn relay box? then another wire from the box to the horn itself? or put a direct 12+ to it, but somehow put a wire inbetween going to the steering wheel? so its not on all the time?

Another thread has just made me wonder........ As I'm having the Tubs upgraded, and I'm having divorced downpipes fitted, I'm considering fitting de-cats as well. Now I currently have the Mongoose zorst with the twin 3" round exits either side. My question is... Would the zorst be louder with this set-up, and if so would it be a more basser sound to it? Has anyone done the same? ie; gone from cats to de-cats with the Mongoose already fitted? TIA Dave

My new steering wheel turned up today, ever since fitting the recaros, it's been a bit hard to get in and out of the zed with the 350mm wheel, so when a plain black 280mm wheel came up for sale I snapped it up :D Then this afternoon this came: This should give it away: MMMMMMMMMMMMMM SHINEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D Just need to get some new exhaust rubbers and then it'll be going straight on!

Hey guys, i'm a member of midlandshonda.co.uk and own a 1998 2.0 prelude. I love hondas but love all jap cars! I've recently changed jobs and decided to buy a 'toy' for the weekend towards the end of the year, i will keep the prelude as my work car. After making a short list of an r34 skyline gtt, a twin turbo supra, or a twin turbo 300 zx, i've decided to go for a zx :xxx: i've had a look on the buying guides on here and there mega helpful, but are there any points to look out for? Also, are there different wheelbase's depending on models? Any help appreciated guys!

Right, I'm a slight bit closer to going for a full window transplant (JDM bronze to UK green). Now, the T-tops have a stippled effect finish on the underside of the glass. It appears to have a similar grade of tint to the windows. Is UK t-top glass different to JDM t-top glass in terms of tint? If it is, can the t-tops be swapped over to a UK car? I understand they are of slightly different design, but can't remember if just using the UK t-top glass on a JDM car would cause fitment problems? Ta

After 10 long, sometimes great, sometimes frustrating years of Z ownership, it's time to say goodbye  A coolant leak has prompted me to take my car to PhilZ for repair, plus an MOT. I usually get the MOT done a day or two before it's due, however, seeing as the car was going to the garage I may as well have it done a bit early. It turns out that the coolant leak is just a split hose, but the problem is it has failed the MOT quite badly. Apparently, the sills are rusted rught through; I was completely unaware of any of this, as the body kit is hiding the corrosion from view. I now have 3 weeks to get rid of the car - I'm frantically looking for good s…

At last its done, Jimmer managed to squeeze me in and do my clutch yesterday. I have had the boost turned right down to try and stop it slipping and been driving like a one legged, one eyed vicar. Boring, boring. Now......its 'turn up the volume' well actually its the boost I turned up and typically I left Jimmer in bright sunshine and with in 5 minutes it started raining, @#+*&$%. drove home like a one legged one eyed vicar. The weather forecast for the weekend is looking OK so a quick burst with 21 psi being applied will be the order of the day which will hopefully blow away my dog collar. Thanks Jimmer, sorry about the soldering.:hyper:
