Got my zed MOT'd on Friday and happy to say it passed as usual :hyper:  Also got it taxed in the nick of time, the queue was rubbish on Friday the 31st with every other unorganised person taxing their vehicles also! Anyway just filing the MOT away with my other stuff and i noticed i have done a measly 3000 miles in a whole year!! Who's done less and who's done more - thats what i wanna know :D Mine is primarily used on Sunday's however if its a nice day i will take it out after a hard days work and get some girlies looking my way - i say girls i mean men who don't wanna look but they can't help themselves having a peek when they think you won't not…

Hiya bud , just wanted to pick ya brains about an autobox problem , i replaced my last autobox about a year ago , it had a slipping 2nd gear clutch pack but it als had a strange quirk of when starting the car up , usually after being stood overnight or all day , i would put it in drive , try to pull off but it would be in third gear ???? switch off and re-start , it would flash the power light but not a definate fault code , in drive again and it would be perfect apart from the slipping clutch pack . Now after replacing the box with a low mileage and really smooth box , it,s started doing the third gear thing again , switch off and re-start sometimes a few times before …

Anyone know the correct running water temperature for TT, the oe gauge is about half but the aftermarket gauge is around 85-90 degrees. I'm trying to work out if the rads I have are big enough or I need to rig up one of the fans to run off an ignition fed live so it runs as soon as the engine is started.

Hi all, Am currently looking for a TT and have found one at a nice price however seller says the Turbos are 'smoking' two questions really; 1. Is it a big job to replace a pair of turbos? 2.(More importanlty) Does this mean the car has been thrashed ? Thanks in advance! Jake

losing a little water from somewhere under driver's side engine bay, boost has recently dropped by 3psi under the same settings that were giving me 15psi before and although ive not put stupid settings in, ive not been able to get higher than 13.5psi, and im getting some whitish smoke reportedly from only one zorst does this mean that one of my turbos (baring in mind that they were rebuilt less than 2 years ago) is fooked? also, an idiot's maths lesson: ive read that a koyo rad takes about 7 litres of coolant - i just put 700ml in to fill it to the brim, does this mean that i was ok for fluid before and that the level had just sank down out of sight naturally?…
