Anyone used this stuff? I have and think its spot on. From cleanyourcar.co.uk and other sites - youtube up snow foam. Paid £45 for a bottle that fits on the end of the karcher and £14 for some snow foam (5 litres) - foam the car, leave for 5 mins then hose off! All the detailers are doing it as if you stay on top you dont actually need to rub your car with cloth/sponge thus avoiding cleaning marks/scratches.

Hey folks i need a few ideas as i fitted a blitz DSBC last weekend and was testing it out and slowly bringing the setting up and ended up with 14psi but then as i went to accelerate again i have lost all boost and can hardly get over 0. I have checked all the hoses for leaks and have found none and im not sure if the ECU will put it into some safety mde which is preventing me from getting any boost pressure. Marty

I've got an 89 z31 2+2 NA (UKK spec) and I've got a puddle developing on the road, had a look underneath and I can see 2 thin pipes running from what looks like some sort of small radiator under the rear bumper (not sure what this is and dont see it in the haynes manual), these 2 pipes run round the side of the fuel tank (passing above the filler neck) and as the start to curl round to the front end of the tank, one of the pipes just ends and this is where the fluid is leaking from, the other pipe continues down the car...to somehere and seems fine. Anybody know where this broken pipe should be going? Or what this radiator like thing is under the rear bumper? Car is run…

Where is the best place to source the parts required to effect the fix posted by 'Groover' in the 'Body' section- is it worth changing any other potentially worn parts at the same time to save having to strip the door a second time later?

Went out to fit the lights thismorning, was told simple plug and play which it does seem, i just need to put bullet crimps on my black (negative) wire. But when i connect them all up, there is one wire left? Its the black wire from where i took the original light out, that was connected to the orginal negative. This has kind of thrown me abit as i think it should all work when i change the crimps over to the correct ones. So can anyone inlighten me to what this is or what i should do with the wire? cheers

Well I think I have gone as far as I can with the conversion, I need to either get the car on some roller to simulate driving and see how it performs and get it set up. Not sure when I can get that done so went for plan B- Car is off for a MOT today, thought at least I can drive her down and see what happens, not expecting a pass in a million years but at least it gets a run and I can see what jobs I need to add to the list. Will post some pics up later!!!

Just about to swap my tailgate for a new one with mid level spoiler. I've sussed the ram strut removal. I've accessed the 4 nuts holding the tailgate in place BUT............. The stupid wiriing going into the rightside of the tailgate seems to have no snap connectors - so I either cut all the wires and rejoin or???? Anyone done this with minimal work? ta Chris ps It's going to Nurburg next week so have to fit it Saturday.

Hi all Picked up my new Zed (new import) without really thinking too much about the consequences. Realise I need a speed converter but will I need a UK dash or can I simply get a new speedo face (one on ebay maybe) ? My speedo doesn't have a boost guage. Is this normal for a 95 model ? It's definitely a TT :) Does anyone know if it's ok to use the central brake light in the perspex strip on the bootlid as a fog light ? Would this be a simple wiring job ? Perhaps it would be easier to hand the car over to a recommended specialist ? In Surrey maybe or nearest ? All thoughts very much appreciated. Mark

A few weeks ago the car developed a knocking noise going over bumps that sounded like it was coming from the transmission tunnel. I finally got it up on ramps today and found that the noise was the drivers side exhaust hitting the crossmember (as seen in Munys "What is this post"). The exhausts are mongoose cat backs, everything else is original and the cats are still in place. All the rubber supports at the rear of the car are intact and undamaged and there didn't seem to be any damage to the original parts of the exhaust but it's wrapped in cladding and difficult to see. The car's not making any extra noises and there are no funny smells so i'm pretty sure that it'…

put a deposit on a Zed finally, only to have the dealer call up and say 'someone is here giving us greif, we're going to sell it to them'. I'm so wound up, this is the third one in my budget that the seller has screwed me on in one way or another, and I'm running out of time for a car so may have to get something else. totalyl gutted / annoyed beyond beleif!! couldn't of happened on a worse day either, I came in 3 hours early to work so I could go collect it, arranged the insurance etc, only to have to get the bus back home, £100 down until it re-appears in my account, £100 down in train tickets over the three different cars, and god knows how much down for commuting…

Could somebody kindly tell me where the best place to look for chroming engine bay parts is, whether it be a website which sells chromed ZX parts or a person on here who would do this for me and pm me some prices. (Also, the same for powdercoating) finally, could someone please tell me how to put an image up in this forum, rather than attaching it .lol. Cheers!!
