Between rebuild kits for front calipers? Long story short, I have one pot on each of my front calipers that has seized, and I want to rebuild the calipers to sort it out. Only thing I'm unsure of is whether I have to get (or if there is) a different type of rebuild kit for Iron (the type I have) calipers rather than Alloy.

Hi Today I bought a 300zx Turbo (my first Nissan although have now owned over 80 cars) which when I turned up to view, the guy was working on. Turned out the car had popped a fuse on the injector circuit and when swapped for another fuse, started but misfired. The guy took it to his friends garage to discover a faulty connector on one of the injectors - I guess it must have shorted to take a fuse out? The car drove fine all the way home, but I noticed that it was too eager to kick down (auto) at 50 although just lightly touching the accelerator pedal to keep the speed constant - is this just an adjustment on the kick down cable? Thought some of you guys might want to see this. It's a friend of mine over on the US forum. This is his 93 Z32. He's done quite a bit to it, was stock when he bought it. Some of my favoruite wheels I've seen on a Z. Great stance and a nice fresh look about it.

I would love some buckets for my Z but would really like some recliners. the ones i want are allot of money purely because they are recliner buckets. I'm just under the impression a fixed bucket seat is not adjustable and would be uncomfortable. How much truth is there in this? How do you find your bucket seats? are they uncomfortable? How do you find the fixed position? I will fit in them no problem but a bit of a short ass so without being able to adjust the height is that a issue?

spiggot rings for my alloys! i dont think the 1's provided with alloys are strong enough. to bloddy flimsy, cheap shite, any ideas guys, or if anyone has any gathering dust :D ,free would be nice :D ,seriously i dont mind parting with the £'s

Hi guys, I have just found 2 holes in the right hand exhaust pipe,sounds nice lol.but i need to replace just the pipe,the other side is ok and so are both Mongoose silencers,its for a 1990 jap spec tt lwb and has been de-catted. Does anyone have just the pipes for sale? A bit desperate as its my daily driver Cheerz Chris

can anyone tell me what reading the cylinders shud be at on a uk twin turbo think my rings are on the way out :mad: , its smokin like churchill not sure iff its the ring or tubs so goin to do a compression test, also anyone know where i can get my hands on a service manual? cheers

Hi all, My friend needs help with his new zed. Firstly it has been modified and this includes dump valves and the egr removed. The car needed the head gaskets changed thus all the vacum pipes need connecting but the manual we have resembles a plate of spagetti!! Can anyone pls advise? Also what changes as a result of the egr removal? Thanks

The HID lights are driving me crazy; At my fu**ing wits end with this........ Have cut the wire on the main loom to put the female spade on it. This all connected up and the light didnt come on the first light setting then on second beam it made the noise...du dudu du and flickered......but it will not stay on. So i gave up on the HIDs and went to see if my original bulb would work.....which it wouldnt. So ive snipped away part of the loom and tried to get it to work, now nothings happening and nothings working. Very very very very pi$$ed off with this now im raging. Anybody dum this right down for me as i done want DTA said as i originally thoug…

ANybody know what this is? Just i seen this cylinder then the bent pipe, not sure what it is? Ok......So my horn is kind of quite, could this be the problem, its in a very bad state. 1) fix the damn rattling from behind the air vents somewhere - turns out that the plastic 'crossmember!' that goes behind the vents had snapped in the middle, and the two pieces were bouncing off eachother as i drove. bit of tape fixed that one :D 2) my demist button had fallen off last week for no reason whatsoever, and could i find where it had gone? i was driving through the countryside at the time so i couldnt follow it with my eyes for fear of losing concentration on my driving! thought it had gone through a small gap in the bottom DIN, so i had a good rummage behind there while the centre console was out, but i couldnt find the damn thing. after a bit more sear…

According to autobulbs data, both the dipped beam bulb and the main beam bulb are H1, my local auto shop also say this, however i have read on this site that they are H3 or H3c, with a mod to the former to make it similar to the latter (I think) Can someone please put me right as i need to improve the main beam output as its like driving with a candle. Hi, ive not long had my zx and ive already sorted a few problems when i had it ie, coil pack and prop vibration, but what im stuck at is the electrics, side lights, dipped beam, heaters, wipers, horn, crusie control, clock, dash lights and speedo, none of these work?? ive changed all the relays and the whole fuse box located under the drivers footwell but still the same?!? (annoyingly) the stuff i dont care about like electric seats and interior light works??!? Please if anybody has had a similar problem or know what on earth this is let me know, thanks for any help

My other half's Z is due the dreaded MOT and I'm a little concerned about the noise levels from the exhaust. She's fitted the straight through, single exit system from my old TT as she loved the aggressive exhaust note (somehow I managed to turn her into a petrol head a couple of years back...Christ knows how I managed it! lol ;)). However, now it's on an NA it's truly loud...I mean Armageddon-esque L-O-U-D loud. TBH it sounds fantastic (if occasionally annoying when cruising at speed on the motorway...) but I'm not sure whether it will pass an MOT as it is. I believe our cars are exempt from the emissions test (well the early ones anyway...I think?) so does this also app…
