all the black textured platic coating type stuff has worn away to shiney ali and looks a bit daft to be honest. Is this stuff available as a spray or is it best just to have them resprayed when I get my boot done

Ok so now there is a new problem with the car before ive had chance to fix the others. There is a noise coming from behind the glove box which sounds like someone sucking a straw constantly in a nearly empty cup, but the only thing i can find in the area is the battery. Is there something under the battery or behind the glove box which uses a liquid?

ok, its been a while now since i bought a steering wheel! (no comments plz znut :p) the steering wheel pervert needs a new thrill... i had a nasty nardi wooden thing when i bought it which i changed for a momo millenium... didnt like that so went oem... didnt like that so went 350z... didnt like that so went oem... was gonna go oem red stitched but dont like the idea of that so some PLEASE tell me what wheel will make me happy!! ideas on a postcard... there must be some nice wheels on the market by now... btw, no spaceship steering wheels plz

I've got the chance to pick up a N/A manual for peanuts. All seems OK apart from above the windscreen, the panel between that and the targas has a huge crack in it. To the extent that you could peal a chunk out. Also the speedo says MPH, but the guy recons it is reading KMH. Apart from that there is some surface rust around the wing and the filler cap & Driver window are faulty

anyone know the cheapest place to get a centre bearing

what do you think it has had done to it to make it sound like this??

my hicas inner arm has play and needs replacing.. but can i get the bypass... will this mean that i no longer need the arm is it a cheaper option>? cheers

Evening all... When i did a quick basic ecu check on the zed followin this link http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html started the engine so that it's monitoring the left sensor..got no sigals.. switched it to right an got signal.. taking it that left is knackered... Question is.. is the left passenger or driver side?? prob a daft one but don't want to do the job twice! Tony

:hyper: Well i now own 4 zed`s!! oh no!! what was i thinking!! But as soon as i saw her i wanted it :headvswal Drive`s absolutley spot on, the engine is sweet, gear change is smooth, just stunned at how good it is Body work is crap, no rust at all, just scratched to hell and the lacquer is peeling off, but with some hard work ,sweat and zed passion, next year she`s gonna be a stunner!!! Just drove about 80 miles today and hardly used any fuel , but can definatley tell that 2 turbo`s are missing, but hey it`s a vert, they are meant to cruise arnt they. Even the Air-con works!! Well the sun`s just come out, i`m off for a spin Daz :hyper…

Hello. Just wondering, can the clear fog lights be used as indicators instead on my zed for the bumper? Just so i dont have the big orange bit on the front? cheers

i need a new turbo for my passenger side bank is that the left or right bank?? as not sure if you do it from looking at the engine or from inside teh car. cheers p.s. any one got a spare or 2nd hand in good order to sell ??

Hi people Need your help again!! Plan on buying a new set of 19" alloys to replace the standard uk ones, plus since having body kit fitted push the wheels further in line with body work. My problem is i also have a big set of AP brakes to go on the front and rear, but cannot fit them with standard wheels. But i am unsure if the aluminium bells to the AP brakes are thicker than the standard disc. Has anyone got a standard front and rear disc they could measure the thickness as the picture shows? i can measure the thickness of the AP's but need the Zed thickness, otherwise will have to unbolt discs on car and measure. Your help would save me a load of…

i have a set which i took off my car as the little thin plastic for the vaccuum line had come out of place and so was giving me a boost leak, just wanted to know if i sealed it back on and put them on ebay as a damaged/repaired item how much would you say id a fair price, im only asking as i dont know how much they are actually worth. hope im not breaking any rules, this is not an ad its just a enquiry :D

I know some parts are different on a JDM model 300zx to a UK version, but what parts are best? I read that UK anti roll bars are thicker and a good upgrade from JDM ones, the calipers also look different? What other parts are good to mix and match?

300ZX decal on the doors and a mid height spoiler. Sure I've spotted this before.

Seen a few things but this even surprised us last week, the near side tension rod arm is two half's welded together, who, what and why is a puzzle as the zed has a recent new owner, but worse still the two half's where slightly longer than a standard one so that side of the car had around 20mm set back on that wheel?? a good used replacement rod sorted it and the set back out, had to re-track it but after that all was good ..... odd :confused: Jeff T

Hi All,Ok i recently bought myself a 300 TT import, a car i wanted for a long time.* It needs some work, i had an idea of what was needed befor i bought it, i just didnt have 5k to hand so my options were limited.Anyways was wondering if anyoe could give me some info or maybe where to look for some.It has a Kakimoto cat back exhaust, HKS turbo timer, Blitz induction these are the parts i knew about when i bought it.* So, now its in my garage and ive had time to give it a little look over i have noticed an HKS automatic line oil pressure controller and a KAKIMOTO ecu (or at least it has there sticker and there seals) does anyone know where i can find out anything about thi…
