  1. Sorry, did you sell these, I need some that bolt into the aftermarket downpipes to weld some cats in, having trouble getting it past MOT. Cheers
  2. Yeah that would need plugging into a device but blutooth is a little nicer and the android Datascan is only £6. Didn't know datascan dosn't work on windows 10, assumed you tried compatibility mode?
  3. That's very much appreciated Ian ? I don;t think I could handle it if it brought up more than 3 faults though lol Is this one the same as yours http://www.buyobd.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=40 If it is I'll order one, I don't really want to spend more/again on PC/windows Datascan, but if that works I'll definitely get the android app
  4. I purchased a blatz cable with data scan software on here part of a group buy, oh about 12 years ago ? I cannot even trace the email where I got my software activation, and I even think m,y 5 licences run out.... Anyway, I would like the android version of data scan now but cannot get the blatz cable to connect.... I really don't want to spend a lot on a new cable, Anyone know if this one would work, its a cheap one off ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Diagnostic-OBD-Fault-Code-Cable-Tool-14-Pin-For-Nissan-Consult-Interface-USB/274350063024?epid=11022027667&hash=item3fe089bdb0:g:P7AAAOSwUCBep6Ga or whats people using? I only want it for quick look at and fault codes etc. Cheers
  5. Thanks for the scans Andrew, and I did change the assembly's but the wiring but not the wiring. I must again thank you guys for all your input, I have had a few days off the car issue and yesterday my new flasher unit has arrived, just fitted and this has stopped the bulb out fast blinking. I know the problem isn't fixed correctly, but now there is no problem lol. I will check the continuity of the wiring in a few days when I take the inner wing off to get a feed off the side indicators.. Many thanks again
  6. Cheers GRMAGNUM That's what I did yesterday to check an all is good, apart from the fast flashing. I'm going to make a good job of it when the front of car us jacked up an inner wing off. I'm going to order this to stop the fast blinking. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LIGHTEC-CF13-JL-02-3-PIN-RELAY-LED-FLASHER-CAR-BIKE-TURN-SIGNAL-INDICATOR-LIGHT/233565688998?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 Diamentionally it check out, Ill just have to fight with it as the plastic housing don't match up. This should stop the bulb out check problems. I'm almost confident that the wiring matches up (Electrical section EL59 of the manual). Still totally puzzling why it's no power to both front indicators though.
  7. Keep em coming as I'm all out of ideas :). I would even make my own to go along side the loom if I knew where it ended up ? Think it's green with red stripe for wing indicator and green with black stripe for front or other away around.
  8. Yeah that's what I did, Works using the original shared earth with the side light and the feed from the side indicator, Flasher unit blinks quickly as if there is a bulb out, otherwise I would have gone with this days ago lol
  9. Cheers fog the drawing. Wish a had the electronics knowledge like you mae
  10. Yes video doesn't show passanger side but is same. Well I have put hazards on the with multimeter black lead to negative on battery. The multimeter set on voltage jumped from a signal to zero as it flashed but only 0.02v. When connect bulb holder earth direct to battery it still does not work. I connected the side indicators to the front but still used the earth cable from the light cluster and is now working as we knew it would with hazards but flashing quickly with indicator stalk as if there is a bulb out. Going to jack front if car up tomorrow and take it from there. Your help is much appreciated mate.
  11. I've been replying on my phone an its not come through? Yep both fuses in foot well are fine. This is really is frying my brain, and I cant help but think its something ive done in the past. I've put a vidd up on youtube, as you can see that the end the sidelight is working and the sidelight shares the same earth so not an earth issue. only recorde drivers side but passengers side asme. I only noticed this as my car is nearly 'finished' and ready for mot an I was putting my lights back in but I have now got larger front mount intercoolers so the lights don't fit back in with the bulb holders how they are. Ive decide Ill have to make something, so going with LEDs that shouldn't have to be replaced. https://youtu.be/cwTUikVNz4A
  12. Yes handing loose still same result. I check the hazards without key and indicators with ignition on.
  13. Big thank GRMAGMUN I have 12V on pin one, i have looped wires 1+2 and then 1+3 both times worked as expected but still with no power to either front indicators (the back and sides are OK). Think I need to find out what the relay does behind the fuse box in the foot well and check backwards from the front bulb connectors. The back of the car is jacked up at moment awaiting parts which should come today, tomorrow I'm gonna jack the front up and take the inner wings off to see whats happening with the loom, but the are fed independently from each other one wiring loom per side inside the inner wing. Blowing my mind lol
  14. Well today's progress........... replaced my hazard switch with another one I had, indicator problem still same. With a massive amount of struggling (seat out everything wrecked near the pedals.) I have finally got to my flasher unit, which was cable tie up right at the top, all my alarm units are in that place too, I have previously had the dash off and done a manual conversion so I tidy everything up under there ? Its a right mess now. The flasher unit is making the clicking noise and I can feel the switch inside when the hazard switch is pressed. I will have to check wire continuity between that and the indicator stalk tomorrow. and see if there a test I can follow on net tomorrow, thanks for the input, Ill be back with more tomorrow.
