Hi all, I was a little busy with my new Z again today...... .......I replaced the (slightly knackered) aerial with a fully operational one (thanks to AndyZ; only £20 on Fleabay). Plus the best modification yet - I fitted my new 99-spec rear lights. Again apologies for the low quality pics from my phone. But you get the idea........;) Oh, and I gave it a wash:p Richard:hyper:

As most of you probably know, the 1999 Lamborghini Diablo VT used the headlamps from the Z32. Are there any other parts of the Z which have been used on non-Nissans?

I've been respraying my targas, so far I've given it 2 coats of primer and 4 of KH3. Not sure how many coats of laquer to give it though. I was thinking 3. Is this enough or should I go more? How many did they get at the factory?

Can't wait to get them fitted  I've also got a full front and rear poly bush set, adjustable F & R droplinks, Z1 Hicas eliminator, powertrix adj rear camber set and Stainless braided brake lines to fit as well. Cost a bleedin' fortune, gonna be worth it tho' Big thanks to Dan the Man at DTA.

Well I've recently picked up these second hand Rota Drift GTR's in white. I love the style and always makes me think of the proper drifting machines! Not fitted them on the car yet as the car its going on currently has no engine (until hopefully nect week), so theres not much point putting them on there yet! Here they are just resting up against my current 300 (soon for sale!) Comments welcome! More pictures fitted when they're on there (or if I get impatient when theyre on this one!)

  15. Hi guys (and girls if any) Just got a replacement gearbox for the 300 and i'm having a hell of a time trying to get the torque converter in. It may be just me but i am not happy with it when i put it on the gearbox. It feels like it doesn't go in far enough. I have around 25mm from the mounting studs to the face of the bellhousing but it just feels like its flopping a bit too much side to side. When its fitted to the box, should it be pretty solid or be abl to move side to side? I just don't think it has gone down far enough and locked into the "flats" on the end of the converter. Any help or input would help alot. Thanks in advance. Paul.

Had a guy round last night to re gas the system, he did the usual, emptied the R12 (600g)?? took out moisture, put in R24, after everything was sorted the guages were reading fine, but the output was not cold, 30deg. As the gauges were reading okay, he couldn't diagnose the problem with his big book!! Any one got any ideas? Rich

Ive cleaned throttle bodies Done boost/vac leak test with no leaks checked tps and cas changed the maf timing is ok new temp sensor and wiring loom. Could it be the ptu? When it is cold it holds back at 2500 revs and all of a sudden it will be ok and i will have a burst of speed, then i will go under 2500 revs and it will hold back again, the revs also drop when i go to pull away, after about 10 mins or so the car will run fine. What do you guys think?
