hi everyone ive nearly finished my 300 rebuild, rewire and bodywork, replaced the temp sensor and gauge sensor today, ran the car for about 15 mins not driving it just letting it idle because its in my garden, seems to be running a bit high on the revs so i tryed to adjust, but when i put the air con on the revs raised again, eventually i gave up with this and decided to relocate the dett sensor as this was the only fault that i was getting code {34). relocated it now engine sounds as if its running on 4/5 cylinders, totally pissed off now as this was the last thing that i had to do.engine is hot from previous engine run , getting code {55} but running like a bag of…

Picked up my car today from the docks :hyper::dance::dance::dance: On my way home - almost home actually - and pull up next to another white Zed on a 'W' plate !! Beautiful car with graphite R34 GTR alloys. Only inconsistency was the early spoiler (Series 2 or 3 maybe). Is this the latest plated Zed ? Wish I'd snapped a pic or two !

Right got round to fitting the new exhaust today, what a PAIN IN THE BUTT!! I don't think the fact it's gotten bent in transit helps, so the passenger side back box, touches the diff and HICAS unit :( managed to "bodge" it for now until I can get it fettled and sitting right. This car is really beginning to try my patience, so far the only thing that's gone right is changing the steering wheel. Ho Hum. The old exhaust is knackered, so sorry to those of you that wanted to buy it, it's gone where the pipe work joins the back box, and the flanges that join the 2 sections together have had it to. Spotted it last night around 9pm "M" reg. Heavilly modified electric blue and some of the bodykit was black it was seriously different :rofl: Not sure how else to describe it Has anyone else seen it around East London :confused:

Upholsterer? I need to get the leather seat/cushion part of my drivers seat either repaired or replaced. I can't find a decent one near me so I thought i'd ask on here :)

As above really. Started the car today and the engine was running very rough and causing vibrations. The cone filter (K+N) is not fully covered as the car's not got a bumper on at the moment and it's been peeing it down this morning :D car was running fine the other day. cheers dave

right im well confused as to what to try and save for my current list of suspension components are: powertrix front upper link arms powertrix front tension rods. now as my z is a non turbo im confused which bushes i can/need to replace or what kit i need? im also looking for a solution for my upper shock mount rubbers is there an alternative for these either polyurethane or pillow ball mount options for standard shock spring setup (albeit being aftermarket shocks and springs)

Went to wembely yesterday to watch drifting, jdm allstars and they had a wide body 300zx there on display .Im sure ive seen it before years ago i think it was an old se nissan car apprantenly it has 600 bhp any one now it reg c4sh f .Think it was advertising some kream body kits never heard of them.

I'm thinking about re-doing some upholstery in leather on the interior, my first thought would be where to get the leather from, does anybody have any experience with this and could give me some names of people/companies who can supply me. Regards Ric

It's now looking very likely the turbo seals have gone on the passenger side turbo, and as it's an engine out jobby, which I don't wanna do too often, I might as well upgrade the turbos, while I'm there. Which turbos are the best to fit, (considering power gains/cost)? Would I need to upgrade the standard intercooler, or fuel pump? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated... Cheers

Hey Guys, before I go out and buy a new battery, can you help me make sure that this is the issue? I managed to flatten the battery the other day (forgot to turn the map light off :(). I got a couple of lads to push start the car, and off I went, car alarm blaring. Drove around for about 20 minutes to get some charge back into the battery, stopped and sorted out the alarm. Restarted and everything was fine. Went off up the M11 for 70 miles. Parked up at the festival and got *****xed :duffer::duffer: Tried the start the car this afternoon to come home, and battery is flat again. Got a jump start and came back to London. work on my z has slowed down to a snails pace just cant seem to get the incentive to get out in the shed and work on her anymore, so i thought i'd put up some pics see what you guys think so far. car has been stripped back to just about a bare shell, everyhing waxoiled, subframes powder coated and polybushes fitted everywhere needed.

Anybody ordered some parts from z1 before? has your parts been stopped in customs? How long did it take to get them? I know for under a $100 i think it doesnt goto customs but im putting in a pritty big order, so reckon its goini get stuck there. cheers

Seen this pic on the Nico Z forum, spot the obvious thing wrong with the pic: :slap: to which someone replied: "the Z symbol looks kinda awkward to me on the hood, isn't it supposed to be on the center panel?" then the owner put: "the 1990 300zx had them on the hood. Got a few questions regarding Z32 TT's What bhp do the injectors and airflow meters max out at?? Also whats the highest boost you can run on standard turbos and what kinda BHP?? As standard They are about 280 bhp so i read, So with a FMIC, Decent exhaust, Decent induction kit, De-cat and Boost controllor and a remap(have i missed anything??) what kinda power would you look at hitting?? What kinda power do Autoboxs handle in these cars?? Thanks in advance for any answers

Hi guys was wondering if theres any way i can check to c if my zeds chipped, ie is the ecu sealed, is it something i could do or would it need to be sent somewhere, and if i could ge into ecu would it be obvious if it had a "chip" in??

I'm just 21, no NCB (no accidents and have had cars for 3 years solid, but am stupid and keep swapping cars and have switched insurance companies where my current one didnt insure a new car eg Admiral wouldn't insure my supra for less than £4k!) and 3 years driving. Hey folks im after a bit of help setting up my boost controller that ive just fitted. At the moment ive set the ratio to 47 and im boosting at about 12psi however from the posts i read about setting the gain it says to set it at 5 or 6. When i switch onto the gain adjustment on the Boost controller this goes between 0-100 so 5 or 6 seems a little low to me. Is it me being a mong with it? My spec is twin hks filters and mines ecu and its on a 92 lwb manual. Thanks for help in advance Marty
