Hi guys, I'm in the process of trying to find a reasonably priced suspension setup for my zed...been searching on ebay and found a few different setups....just wondered if anyone has had any experience with the following ones? I have had problems with my power steering, speedo, and a stalling on my manual ztt 92, all accuring at the same time now the speedo does not work at all, and the pas and stalling are getting worse. I took off my speed sensor and found it to be almost siezed with the teeth on the cog a little chewed and bent. So with this looking like the culprit does anyone know where i can get hold of another sensor? thanks.:nana2:

well the zx has been off road for way too long now and while its been off road some t**t decided it was there right to climb on the back of the car and break the rear spoiler so last weekend i have been a bit busy with repairs. So on with a bit of fibreglassing back together And then some sanding(well quite a lot of sanding) and after a light coat of paint quite a good bit of weekend time spent on car. also had some rust so now have a huge hole in drivers side sill to repair so that should keep me busy for a while, lol

Not sure if this has been posted before but now that I've had my rebuild I'm finding it a pain to find VPower petrol stations wherever I go but found this :hurray: http://www.shell.co.uk/home/content/gbr/products_services/on_the_road/shell_station_locator/service_station_locator.html There's also a voucher I found though it doesn't seem to be working. Might be worth checking back though? http://www.shell.co.uk/home/page/gbr/products_services/on_the_road/promotions/app_shell_vpower_voucher_promo.html Edit: Found a help page for the voucher http://www.couponnet.co.uk/help.asp?wording=coupon&nid=20

Hi all, I am relaticvely new to the site as I have recently aquired a highly modified nissan 300zx several months ago. It was previously on Piston heads for sale. A red nissan 300zx twinturbo manual that has had extensive work done to it with 2 dyno read outs. One for 454.4bhp and 475lbs of torque and another for 543.3bhp and 550lbs of torque. I have recently uprated the gearbox as it was shot with one that can handle 800bhp. hid lights and 6 piston AP racing brakes and discs all round. The problems started a few weeks ago...I noticed I was losing performance and the car started developing a low toned type of whining sound.on acceleration and decleration.I …

Finally got all the bits I need to update the car a little :) Just had the bits sat there as been awaiting the genuine grille for the bumper and few other little odds and ends, hopefully can make a start tommorow. Has cost a few quid for it all so fingers crossed it will be worth it :smash:

Hi all, The Zed will be up on axle stands for a while as I now have to sort out the rusty sills problem.:( Where's the best place to support the car? I've got the stands under the rear subframe front mountings and the front engine x-member. Any problems with this set up or any better suggestions on placement? Thanks in advance - Andy

Cut loads of holes in it, hack up the front bumper, ram chicken wire into all the new orifices and call it custom. 1 x UK Manual Z32....£2.2k with smoking turbos, it's not even worth that. Such a shame as without all that stuff, it would be a tidy car. With all that mesh rammed in the front bumper, there's probably less airflow going to the ICs and rad than if there wasn't any. LOL Spare wheel ventage is kinda amusing. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-3-0L-TWIN-TURBO-MANUAL-UK-CAR-TARGA-BLACK_W0QQitemZ260428178495QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item3ca2baa43f&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A7%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A…

Just wondering what is the best way to go to get a SWB 300tt handling better suspension wise? My thoughts from what I have found on the forum are: Hicas removal Rear camber arms Front camber arms Coil overs Uprated anti roll bars Front strut brace What about rear upper traction arms?, front adjustable tension rods? rear strut brace? Anything else to add?

Just fitted a big 12 row oil cooler from a Showgun. One of the old pipes didnt quite reach so used some 10mm vaccum pipe. Will this do? It seems ok no leaks and doesnt bulge or anything when the car is running. :wack: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=270387532406

as above. with the ignition on, even with the wiper switch off. the only thing the switch will do is make them go faster if you turn it to the fastest setting. read threads about this but non seem to come to a conclusion. have tried a new relay, had the switch apart, which all apears fine. took the top off the motor were the plastic cogs and sensor thing is. cant see anything broke or corroded. i can get hold of a new motor but its of a z of a similar age and mileage (94 and 145k miles) so wont that be ready for giving up aswel? any advice or anyone with a newer motor would be appreciated. cheers, danny

Well I've had another few hours working on the Z getting her ready for the road tonight, but got a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can answer for me. First of all, I've removed the carbon canister (amongst other useless items), and the large pipe is left with nowhere to go (see red arrow). But it does T off and the other end goes behind the chassis rail (see green arrow). I have hunted around the net but cannot find any reference to this pipe at all. Do I need to cap the open end? Secondly... my car is missing an alternator which I am in the process of sorting out, I'm guessing the left hand bracket in this picture is the alternator bra…
