been thinking for ages the the front of my car sits far to high compared to the rest then realised the bumper just doesnt go with the skirts what bumper do you think would suit it best suggestions please

yeah i did think about lowering it but the skirts just pass speed bumps as it is

....but you want a deeper bumper?

yeah the skirts sit alot lower than the bumper. the one i have on the now passes the speed bumps by miles. even if i lowered it i still wouldnt be happy with the combination of the two dont think the lines match up well

'ere we go. Just a quick 'shop. Got rid of the unsightly wings and spoiler. Bit of a backdrop and bobs yer uncle. :)

 

This with an EC1 front bumper would look good.

 

I think its maybe your side skirts that could do with a change? I dont think they go with the front bumper si photoshopped neither to be honest.

I recon due to the side skirts, you might have to add an extension lip to your front bumper to make it sit as low as all the rest front bumpers (that look good) will sit as high as your current one. Unless as CraigTT mentioned, you change your skirts..

My personal feelings are to go with the scarab bumper that zcentre do. It's the one on my silver zed, it's very similar to the one i have on the V8 and it suits the shape of the car. Aggresive but in line with the stock design:

 

They don't suit IMO. The bottom flairs out, which doesn't match the contours of the dropsides and you have no matching swage line.

But in terms of that bumper with the skirts he has i think it would suit.

 

I've only ever liked two bumpers, the scarab and the 99 spec front end.

 

I agree the swage line doesn't match admittedly but in terms of style i think it very much enhances the aggresive side of the car without being too OTT

craig, you need a smoothed 99spec bumper for your car, or the signature bumper if ya can find it
