  1. no tickets or anything
  2. That takes me to a page that says "Error, your shopping basket is empty"
  3. Trying to log on and buy my £10 ticket like last year, am I being dumb? I can seem to work out how to do it!
  4. I was going to be turning up in a fully-repaired red TT codenamed The Red Devil, however as that plan has failed, ill be there in my black NA (which is slowly turning red due to paint loss!). My wife might be coming, not sure yet. My friend will be joining us like last year too!
  5. Avid(!) readers of my build thread will know that I have had to give up saving my TT due to too much rust and not enough money. Therefore I'm having to break the poor thing :crying: Ill be keeping everything for a manual conversion (Gearbox, clutch etc) as my next plan is to import a clean one from Japan as I never want to see corrosion again...even just the word sends me into hysterics and I need a paperbag  All money raised from selling parts will be sent to the "Tom needs a 300zx TT from Japan Charity". Its a good cause as I'm sure you will agree and I hope we can raise a lot! Condition of parts change depending on what they are. Some are good, Some are ok, Some will need work, others will go straight in the bin if no-one wants them. Ill be listing them on ebay soon too, but will give everyone here first chance. Some parts are already off the car (busy day on Friday and Saturday!) Normal dib rules apply, first to post gets first dibs, no arguments please! List of Parts: 1) TT Radiator 2) Bootlid Centre Trim (no Hooks) 3) Boot Trim Centre (no Screws) 4) Boot carpet (looks ok, just needs a good scrub) 5) Indicator Stalk (Spares as it works, but when flashing high beam, didnt always return to dipped beam and had to be flashed again. Didnt bother me while in use) 6) Boot Trim Corners 7) Lower Front Brace Arm 8) Centre Console Lid (Ideal for a re-trim idea) 9) Ashtray 10) Clock (Was working when removed from car 4 months ago, been on shelf since. Cant test it) 11) Hazard Switch (working, removed yesterday) 12) Nose Panel (Indented Nissan badge, love this, but has to go) 13) Front Corner Fake(?) indicators smoked-ish (They look like the indicators on my NA import, but they have blanks over where the bulb holder would go.) 14) Front Indicators 16) Front and back Seats (not bad, drivers isnt great. Ideal for a re-trim idea) 17) Drivers door (paint is good, mirror a bit faded, mirror electrics work, window motor (or wiring) doesnt work. 18) O/S (Drivers) Wing (Will need a repaint) 19) Front bumper (Need fixing and repaint) 20) Back bumper (I think one of the bolt holes for attaching it has been torn and the "Yuk Fu" will need to come off, but is ok) - - - Updated - - - Saved
  6. Ive messaged him as a inquiry raising these areas of concerns... see how I get answered...
  7. I think that he knows that hes going to be in trouble with this impending police investigation and the BBC wanted him off TG before he besmirched it. Also he was getting a lot of negative press and feedback (from me ) and lastly as someone said, Matt LeBlanc wanted him gone and he was getting a lot of good feedback. It should be Matt, Chris harris and Rory together. Sabine as a guest, not full presenter, as she is one amazing driver.... not to mention hot too
  8. Completely agree. Please do carry on with soap boxing, infact ill find you a permenant spot!
  9. My thought exactly. Have you started packing to return yet?
  10. Signed. As a petition with over 100000 signatures didnt bring back Clarkson, I cant see this working... Nice idea though
  11. I know many people have posted to your reply already, but I use iridium NKGs http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Z32-300ZX-FAIRLADY-6-x-Ultra-Colde-NGK-Iridium-Spark-Plugs-UPGRADES-8-/160856266849?fits=Model%3A300+ZX&hash=item2573c7d861:m:mgO5rHmvH4Ptmg-ZBPlbYMw
  12. Well, sad news im afraid. After working hard for the past few months, we reached a point of no return. Hidden rust at a point that only an expert could solve with many many pounds of money. I have though long and hard over this for the past couple of weeks and have decided to stop all work and give up. I feel bad that I have given up on the old girl, im also embarrased that I choose to ignore quite a few peoples advice as I was blinded by ambition and nievity! I have learnt alot about welding, repairs and what Nissans look like inside however (not to mention how much of an a**e rust is). At the moment, I do see this as a huge failure with a hint of a silver lining, but im hoping the pain wont linger! Atleast the wife is now happy as ill be at home more, all be it sulking... I think I will break it up and try to gain some of what the car owes me back. Ill keep some of the parts for my black nissan, but ill start a breaking thread at some point soon for people if they need anything.
  13. Wanted: Lower offside arm with "other bit" (the arm that goes off at 45 degrees to the subframe). with or without the plastic/rubber deflector bit Thanks
  14. Im guessing these wont fit with OEM wheels...
  15. Thank you for you advice, its good to hear that you dont think its the injectors, I didnt really want to shell out for new ones. Ill carry on with my plan of changing the belt and then make sure all the things you mention are setup and adjusted properly.. cheers! :pint:
  16. So as some of you know from a couple of previous threads my black NA Nissan overfuels (Hesitates for a split second when middle to harsh accelleration is used). I know the timing is out thanks to conZult, so ill get the belt done, I also know the cats are shot, so ill get some decats to solve that. My question is about injectors (hence the title ) Would a broken or leaking injector cause my overfueling/hesitating problem? Recently it seems to have got worse but not all the time. Yesterday I drove to work and it was normal (as in normal amount of hesitating and over fueling i.e what its always been like) I drove to the petrol station during lunchtime and reversing out of the space it almost stalled on me, pulling out on to a roundabout I had to dip the clutch and save it from stalling, when off the throttle it popped and banged pretty badly (fuel in the exhaust), but when I drove back to work from the petrol station, its was back to normal. For the past month it seems to be an on/off problem. I can start it one time and have a normal journey to my destination, the next time I start it I have a pig of a journey trying to not let it stall. Some days it does it all day, other days no matter how many times I start it and stop it, it runs fine. While im changing the belt, i was thinking of changing the injectors and cross that of the dianogtic list, but do I need to? If so what in jectors does a 1990 JDM NA LWB take? If I put bigger ones in and get it re-mapped do I get more power or open it up to further problems? This is my daily drive, so prefer reliability (yes, i just used that word!) over power. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks
  17. I've driven a civic and hated it. Also, why buy a crappy car and spend thousands "doing it up". Why not use the thousands and buy something dencent in the first place...? As for that poor poor Z in the video, I was in tears. We need to call the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelity to Automobiles...)
  18. nothing wrong with those pictures. I love running my car with a massive oil leak, it means that I know the underside of the car is "waxoyl'ing" its self and wont rust!
  19. I have two cats and cant imagine life without them. I can only guess what you are going through, our thoughts go out with you and we hope Cassie is happy up there happily chasing the eternal tennis ball...
  20. When a date is settled, ill check if im working. I have lieu days I can use to make sure I have a day off and be there
  21. Before I go spend lots of money on t'interweb, thought I would see if any one has a couple of kits laying around here. I need two kits both full kits with belts, tensioners, pulleys etc (with or without water pump). I need one for my UK TT and for my jap NA, but from what I have read the kits are the same? Thanks
  22. Wasnt that on ebay a couple weeks ago?
  23. Im learning (slowly) how to spot the different. The jap cars dont have fog lights in the rear bumpers. TTs have "grills/fins" in the front bumper for the intercoolers. Colours im not so hot on at the moment though as just proven!
  24. Must have been an import with a UK bumper on it or a re-spray then. It had fog lights in the bumper though!
  25. I do believe you can "edit" a Zeds mileage by twisting something at the back of a clock, so I doubt most are genuine without paperwork to prove it. Mine is on 198,000 (a mixture of Kms and old money) and i do about 10K a year in it, less and less now actually. My red one is laid up, but that is around 60K (off the top of my head). The highest mileage car ive owed was an Audi 80 coupe with 268K on it and it was still going strong!
