  1. I do believe you can "edit" a Zeds mileage by twisting something at the back of a clock, so I doubt most are genuine without paperwork to prove it. Mine is on 198,000 (a mixture of Kms and old money) and i do about 10K a year in it, less and less now actually. My red one is laid up, but that is around 60K (off the top of my head). The highest mileage car ive owed was an Audi 80 coupe with 268K on it and it was still going strong!
  2. Racing round on my 1/1A's and saw a silver TT up near Green Street!
  3. Out cruising on my 56 and saw it ready to pull out of a drive just as you enter Westham. I have seen it around town quite a bit lately.
  4. Driving along on my 99, swept round the lights at pevensey bay and sitting in a front garden was a dark blue jap car. Couldnt see if it was NA or TT, but looked good!
  5. So petrol looses its bang after such a short time? I knew it went stale after its been in a tank for years. Didnt know it could loose it in a few weeks. I cant afford Tescos Finest in my NA so I settle for 95 with a tank of finest ever couple of weeks to treat her...
  6. Why is it, when ever I see a picture of a Z's fuel gauge, they never show over 1/3? Looking back through my pictures its always on E and yet I use my car daily and fill her to the top each time! Every picture on eBay = same thing...
  7. completely true and I should know!
  8. As above, thanks!
  9. I do love the supra, I had an NA auto for a while in red. Stock everything, I loved it. However I prefer my 300, There is just something about it, im not sure if its the looks, the noise or the "spaceship" interior. However Im going to throw something else in the mix here: I would rather own a Mazda RX-7 in yellow with black bits than a supra. I know they have no subtly at all, I know they consider an engine change as a 4000 mile service and that you cant go anywhere without going sideways, but when I see them, my knees go wobbly and I normally crash into a lamp post/sign/pedestrian/petrol tanker as im getting a look!
  10. Who is this magician of metal? This fan of fabrication? This wizard of welding? Does he sell his fabricated panels? or only make them if he is welding your car?
  11. I think it's a yearly thing, but not sure as it was my first time
  12. Spent the day with an MR2 friend and some of his club driving around Kent. Started in Ashford and went all around the south coast via Dungeness and Camber etc. 25 cars all trying to keep up with the car in front and being led by a racing Caterham. Im proud to report my Z got many looks and photos taken and apart from a couple of MR2 Turbos (and a 4.0 V8 Soarer!) kept up no problem!
  13. Some very cool cars there, Ive always like the Delta integrale and a MK1 Escort...
  14. From what I have read it takes 2 years to start the process of leaving (The Lisbon agreement 1992) So odds are we will have a new government and will have another leave or remain vote!
  15. This was up for £1800, but saw the engine picture and saw most of the coil pack bolts missing. It was a bit too far for me to have a look and decided its one to avoid...
  16. Whenever I see them, they scream "Drug dealer" to me. Same as the Range Rover sport shouts "footballer"
  17. I loved this last year, Count me in too!
  18. I cant wait to go there, In September my wife and I are going to Europe (shes never been, apart from a night time 4 hour thrash from Amsterdam airport to the UK the first time she left China) and we are planning on going there!
  19. Am I correct in saying this is the diff oil cooler? Or is it to do with the HICAS? Mine looks fine, but I think one of the pipes is leaking and would just like to know while Im fixing it...
  20. Should I also point out the video was uploaded in 2011? Things might have changed by now? I wouldnt know, I dont go to that particular garage.
  21. Niterider :: 1990 Nissan Fairlady Z (2016-03-27 06:35:11)
  22. mmmm lambo.... no money D'oh
  23. Mine has a similar problem, lumpy on idle, then seems to pull alright once going. Its been diagnosed as the timing being out. Ive yet to fix it, so cant confirm anything yet. However you might want to consider that?
  24. Its a 2.5" SSD which is laptop sized, Desktop drives are (or used to be) 3.5". But as someone else said, I think its in a holder to make it an external hard drive.
  25. I suspect that is true with that car! I was worried enough going to Brighton in my MX-5! Its not to my personal taste, but if everyone liked the same cars it would be a boring old world so enjoy what your mate has, who are we to knock someone or something anyway...!
