Tell me about it! I have to repair the engine in my red car (piston faliure) and it would be nice just to remove crankshaft and repair from the bottom.......... :( oh well :p

Pistons come out the top only IIRC....... Not possible to pull crank out and remove them from bottom :(

Very good information Eric! That's actually put me off running my Zed(s) on a track again :S But realistically how likely is it to happen on road tyres? I WAS thinking about buying some sticky rubber, but that won't happen at all unless I make/buy a baffled sump. Rob.

Yep! The rules are all wrong on private number plates. You basically rent the bit of paper for a year unless you put it on a vehicle. :rant: :rant:

I would say gone too.... I've just sorted out a private reg for my black zed and it states you can keep it on retention every year by paying a fee anually, or transfer it onto a vehicle. :(:(

Very trick! I'm guessing the Z is suited to this application in as much as the doors are a constant contour along their length!. Get to work Mr Friday ;)

I think RX7's are sequential too in their stock setup. Some ppl junk this idea and go parallell twin (like the Z).

Being the (un)lucky bugger i am, my red Z has a twin exit ZEES EX system, and my black Z has a single exit Kakimoto system. The twin zorst deffinately sounds deeper, but not as deep as most of them i have heard. The single kakimoto is very loud hooligan equipment :D and I just love the sound! Quite noticibly higher than the twin. Also on looking underneath, it has a 'volume' adjuster, turn it and it goes quieter. I need to rig up a cable to this as it would be a very usefull feature. So my conclusion: Twins look better, singles sound better :p :mac1: :smw:

Mine sound VERY VERY similair to that. I had a look and I'm not sure they're anything special, just silver aluminium piston type which are in place of the stock recircs.
