  5. He didn't say stock internals? (pistons, rods, etc) Just stock cylinder heads.
  6. Can't you find a motorsport tuner in Norway? Usually these type of people are the best to work on your engine because if they build successfull engines, win races etc, word gets around they are good.
  7. Got it! Many thanks! Forgot to say so though :p :mac1:
  8. Well this has turned into a right shit thread............ I'll get me coat! :slap: :mac1: :D
  9. I forget how many tubs I have done now, 3 or 4 I think? If they seize from oil starvation the engine will run perfectly smoothly, but will have a marked reduction in performance. Boost gauge will go no higher than 0 on full throttle, also very little or no smoke at all. When they un-seize it's a different matter. The performance comes back to normal for a short time, but then soon after smoke will pour out of the zorsts and a funny 'grating' noise that i've never heard before. Turns out this noise is the turbo blades contacting the housing due to the brass turbo shaft bearings being totally worn out of tolerance. mikeyv8, my advice is for you to treat this car as if it needs the engine out and turbos repairing. :duffer:
  10. Been there, done that with same fooking result mate! :headvswal Not nice when the go thru your missus' underwear drawer looking for jewlery/money is it? Hope you get your life back in order soon mate! All the best, Rob :duffer:
  11. carmek, the passenger side(L/H) is just about possible to remove with engine in. Drivers side is very hard (i.e. almost impossible) to do with engine in. The trouble is the amount of stuff in the way. Steering rack is the biggest problem.
  12. I'm glad you did it in the end ;) Is it all back together now?
  13. Doh!!! Me too! Oh well....
  14. Damn man! That's an utter kick in the *****x. Dunno what else to say other than sorry for your loss mate! All the best. Rob.
  15. Yep, i would have said it's a line in too....... mute everything then un-mute one by one to see which one gives the hiss. Is the speaker plug fully home?............

  21. Yep i'd say so too... Sounds like a tortured sidecar on the IOM LOL How they don't blow up after 20 miles i don't know! Let alone 4 laps/150 miles  at race speeds.
  22. I don't think you can max them out on stock turbos? Stock turbos become all horribly innefficient after 16psi anyway...
  23. Good find that John! I'll certainly be placing an order with those guys! :hyper:
