LOL dont even go there. If you've got to do both tubs, take the engine out. Will be easier in the long run because you can do a plenum water bypass, get rid of EGR crap etc etc while the engine is out.

Ahh ok! The 787B was a 4 rotor, all the stock RX7's & RX8's are twin rotor so this is somewhere inbetween. I think a few early roadcars came with the 3 rotor engine, but obviously nothing as hi tech as this one.

That's the tickover you get from a 4 rotor N/A engine. IIRC the 787B was a 2.6L non turbo chucking out 900+ hp in qualifying trim (let me just check the stats on that tho...)
