  1. He could've just jumped off the cliff instead of car jacking the taxi surely? ;)
  2. WillyEd, nice pics! I was just going to make me some slingers like they show in the manual, but they look a lot more involved in real life LOL I wish i'd seen this earlier because I'd have ordered some off Mike Feeney at the same time as the crank bearings.
  3. Amongst the 3 or 4 turbo faliures I've had, one has been a seized turbo. As eric says the symptoms are car runs perfectly well, no bad stuff at all, but maximum boost is 0psi and there is a lack of performance. I also hoped an intercooler pipe had jumped off btw ;) but alas no, turbo was mashed.

  5. Eric! That's a top bit of kit, I'm making one now as I don't want to damage the sprocket, crank or oil pump! :duffer:
  6. Put 6 months on now and in June put 12 months on. It's hard enough @ Christmas time without having to fork out nigh on £200 for road rent :p

  14. BP are rob-dogs! On my way home from work there is a BP and SHELL within 1/4 mile of each other on the same road. BP has ALWAYS been 2p minimum more expensive than SHELL  Anyway, V-Power is cheaper than BP Super too :hyper:

  22. That's exactly how I removed mine. Just to add, use a piece of gaffa tape on the top to stop gravity spoiling the party when you've completed the task :D
  23. I would just like to bump this thread and say a big thanks to GIO for posting theis link. I'm looking for part numbers for the crankshaft oil seals, found them in 3 mins using this site. Well done GIO. http://www.300zx.lv/parts/ Any chance of somebody making this link a sticky somewhere?
