  1. We use 410, 304 & 316 (occasionally) at our work. 410 is the cheapest by far, and is classed as a 'chrome/iron' because it has a negligable amount of nickel in it. 304 & 316 are substantially more expensive because of their high nickel content. High nickel content = high rust resistance, but 410/430 has chrome in place of nickel to achieve the same thing ;) Something I found about 430 http://www.fanagalo.co.za/tech/tech_grade_430.htm Note about the 'good corrosion resistance'..... It should be ok for the kitchen. Now as to DP1 grade? I really have not come accross that before. But a quick search on Google seems to find a lot of associations between DP1 & food grade 304/316 types. In my eyes... 430 probably will do the job (is the same material as S/S tableware), 304 would do it better(no chance of rust), 316 better still but no point spending the extra cash. HTH & i haven't just waffled on for ages.... LOL Rob.
  2. Well if the '99 spec lights only came in JDM (rhd) version, Aus and UK should be fine! Good research there ;) :duffer:
  3. Dude you want to make sure those headlamps are RHD spec not LHD us spec ;) Otherwise you'll be blinding oncomming traffic I should think?
  4. I seen the first one ages ago and really wanted him to stop pissing around and drive the damn thing!! Second vid sorted that out nicely ;) Thanks Wozzer!!
  5. A bodyshop next door to where I work had a Lexus Soarer in for repair some years ago. It had very few aftermarket bits on it but looked very nicely done. It also had an aftermarket exhaust for it's 2.5L twin tub straight 6. Oh my god it sounded the absolute b****x, pure sex. I have never forgotten that sound all this time later. Looking at those pics funky_si posted up I could see myself on one when the zeds go ;) Reccomended ;)
  6. Gah!!! It has no clutch pedal? It says somewhere that it's a twin clutch system, probably very similair to the VAG DSG system. That's a shame to see to be honest. I love playing with me clutch :D ;)
  7. I thought a photograph of a drivers face was against his/her human rights???
  8. :smash: Arf Arf too funny.
  9. Scan it & post it up then :D :hyper: :nana2:
  10. Clues to see if it's a series 3 car is to take a look at the power steering reservior. If it has wires comming from the top it is NOT S3 and has the S1/S2 hydraulic hicas. No wires=S3 electric hicas. HTH Rob
  11. OK so push bikes can easily beat 20mph on the flat..... Will cyclists be given tickets? :mac1: We have a speed camera on a downhill stretch near me either a 30 or 40 limit... I need to see if I can set that mofo off on my bike LMAO :D

  14. Yep! That one is pretty good, only 'holywood magic' is when he was melting some ford & chevvy pistons down to make his own, and stated that "this one has a lot of titanium in it..." LOL Good otherwize. :)
  15. Yep! I gotta say that too! Looks like he took a lot of kerb on the apex and understeered out into the 106! :smash:
  16. See if you can get somebody to TIG it.... would probably be best. Oh, and it's nice to hear somebody else uses their washer & dryer 24/7 too LMAO ATB Rob.
  17. LOL welcome back to zedland Stu!! It's not something as daft as an immobiliser is it? Or is the engine cranking over? ATB Rob

  20. Nice job mate!! Glad you like your new zed so much  Motorguard put an alarm in my red zed years ago. Top fellas, top work. Also very helpfull with a problem I had on another vehicle that had an alarm fitted by them. It wasnt their fault, alarm got wet from very heavy rain and they told me exactly how to fix it over the phone  RECCOMENDED
  21. Check if you have full boost. If you don't then it stands a good chance of being a turbo.
  22. Sounds daft, but take a battery terminal off. Your battery will last AGES without a drain on it. It's a mega pi$$ off when you have to go buy a battery just to fire it up and move it.
  23. Bump. My account is not activated yet, money went out of my account on 17th sept ref: DUNK300ZXTT RENEW BBP
