Re bushing and NA rear mod
Apologies. I was referring to the whiteline subframe bushes. Should have been clearer. They aren't polybush. They're more like an OEM replacement just slightly stiffer.

Re bushing and NA rear mod
Whiteline bushes are my recommendation.

North East Xmas meal...?
I've posted up on 350z-uk to see if there is any interest. Only caveat is that if I organise it'll be in Hartlepool (although probably a different venue to last year). We'll need numbers in a few weeks to ensure we can get a booking somewhere.

North East Xmas meal...?
Strangely enough I got an email from Buon Chibo with their Christmas menu just today! I could be persuaded to organise it again provided their is enough interest.

My new Z and her 'issues'
Just a quick one about your exhausts. Before you go looking for a full new system, check to see if yours still has the Cats fitted. I know from experience that a NA car is loud and awful sounding with decats on.

do you need a trailer licence to use a car trailer ?
Look for a Beavertail rental place. It cost me £90 to hire one for 24 hrs. Plus diesel on top. That was for a 500 mile round trip to collect my Zed.

Good detailing products to remove swirl.
Just to add to Steves info. This is a great starter kit for Nissan paint when used with a Kestrel DA6 http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pb-soft-paint-polishing-kit-cat1.html

There's a skyline in the family
Get it plugged into a Consult and get the standard readings. Have a mooch on GTR forum or Skyline owners and there'll be some threads there with baseline readings you need to be looking for.

What did you do to your zed today?
It was part of my agreement with the Wife when she suggested we extend instead of move. So I got a wider garage, and if you look at the back left of the pic I have a small workshop area too. Still not completed extension yet so garage full of crap but should be starting to move tools and shelves etc etc in soon.

Hubcentric Wheel Spacers
Did you pick up Honda ones by accident? Thread pitch on a Nissan is 1.25. Honda and a few other Japanese are 1.50 Or you don't have OEM studs currently fitted.

Hubcentric Wheel Spacers
If you want to change studs there's a good guide on the amaerican forum by Rockchucker

Hubcentric Wheel Spacers
The PCD you need is 114.3 with a CB of 66.1. They are indeed the same as 350z ones. Brand wise - Eibach and H&R are best on the market. I run a custom made set by Tarmac Sportz (the development set). He now sells them on the website.

SWB & LWB exhaust differences?
Centre section is the same. Rear parts are different. (Oem obviously )

First 300 and loving it
Slicktop owner here too. They are pretty rare as they are classed as a Base model in Japan so most people ordered targas when new. Some parts are a pain to get - especially the windscreen side trims as they run over the roof and are unique to slicktops. So try not to damage your windscreen and check the condition of all your trims.

Tiling a garage floor
Having done some research today on tiled garage floors I take back my earlier statement. I look forward to seeing your finished product.

Tiling a garage floor
Tiles will likely cracking under point loading. Specifically jacks and such. The risk would put me off as it would be a nightmare to replace a cracked tile. Like Andrew I'd go for a 2 part epoxy (with proper prep before). In fact I'm doing lots of research into it at the moment as my extension is almost complete so my new garage/workshop is almost ready for the Zed to come back home.
