Drop him a PM on z club or on FB. He's pretty responsive. I have his home number but don't like to give it out without his knowledge.

Incarnation Brighton
Terry (http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/member.php?14116-Terry) was the last REO for SE I think. Don't know if he still does it.

Incarnation Brighton
There's a good turn out expected from the 350z-uk club. Maybe worth speaking to Payco (started this thread - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105459-incarnation-brighton-sat-april-23rd-2016/page__hl__incarnation) and see if the 300 guys can join in a similar way there are join stands at other annual events.

Ever considered the 19" Rays that come with a 370z? There's a set for sale on 350z-UK including good tyres for £1k

Wheel suggestions please!
They're not 5 spoke, but I really want a set of JR18 on mine. I think they really look good. http://jr-wheels.com/japan-racing-jr18-19x85-et20-5x114120-hiper-blac.html

What did you do to your zed today?
After a busy few days at work, finally got a quiet evening and made use of my boats workbench and vice to change over my suspension struts. So from this piece of crap: To this:
-
"You picked a fine time to leave me, Loose Wheel!" - Mondo's new Zed.
I reckon they've been thrown into the oven at too high a temp to cure them quicker. Hence the orange peel effect.

What did you do to your zed today?
No further Andrew. I'll probably get the 10mm spacers machined whilst I'm at work and run with them for a while to see how it goes.

What did you do to your zed today?
Finally made a start on my winter works....only 3 weeks late and I head back to work on Monday. Exhaust off, drive shaft off, rear calipers off, rear struts out. Then ran out of time. Found a seized piston on one caliper which explains some of the poor braking. Also the handbrake material on one has started to brake down and running around the inside of the disc. Explains the light whine I get sometimes. Suspension heading back to work with me to get sorted so at least some progress will be made.

Red barons car for sale
He had the yellow 280z at LakeZ that time. The Z32 was back in 2014. I specifically remember it because he was telling me and you all about the "Nismo race engine" it had fitted...

RIP Joe Cocker
He's been dead a while Tony. 2014 I think.

Suspension strut gasket thickness
Sorted. Have half a sheet of .65mm onboard. That'll do nicely.

Suspension strut gasket thickness
Thanks Andrew.

Suspension strut gasket thickness
Cheers Si. I'll use Chart Paper instead then. Plenty of cancelled charts kicking around.

Suspension strut gasket thickness
Long shot - Anyone got a front and rear gasket for the suspension struts that they can lay their hands on today and measure the thickness? I have access to gasket material on the boat, and want to take home some of the correct thickness and make up my own gaskets when I take the suspension off next week. Thanks in advance.

NEC 2016 - Bring your Zed
I don't get why everyone is getting themselves all worked up over this. As a subscribed member I pay an annual £10 towards THE RUNNING of this place. The money isn't to give me a say in how it is run, or who runs it. It pays for server fees, Public Liability Insurance, and if I'm really lucky some form of discount at a show or event I may attend. It does not give me the right to dictate what kind kind of car (OEM/OEM+/modified/*******ised/ruined) should be on the club stand at ANY show. Never mind the NEC classic. The folk who run the club are the ones who should be choosing. They are the ones running the club and choosing its direction. Whilst you may not agree with it (I haven't always agreed with it) you need to live with it. If they want to choose cars A. B, C, D for a show like the NEC then accept it. It's their prerogative.

Anyone identify my exhaust?
Pretty sure it's a Fujitsubo. Same as the one I have tucked away in the garage. Next to the Jasma badge should be a small code. You can research that code to give you the manufacturer.

Jae 2016 poll
It was one of the options, but in all honesty I would rather avoid it. As would most who attended the first 2 LakeZ I imagine. lol.

Jae 2016 poll
We discussed going ahead with LakeZ this year with Martins widow. But she decided that it would be too much for her to cope with, which is totally understandable. We have an alternative venue in mind for 2017, but it's going to take some work to get right.

Jae 2016 poll
Unfortunately due to Martinmacs sudden passing in December LakeZ won't be taking place for the foreseeable future. Some of us who used to help Martin put LakeZ on each year hope to bring it back again in 2017 but the location will need to change and there are a lot of logistical obstacles to overcome. Who knows, 2017 could be the year me and you get our idea off the ground ;)
