  1. Jizer works well (I use it to clean all sorts of parts on the boat. Muc-off gets good reviews too.
  2. It was an invite to the 350/370 forum, not eviction from here. I'm an ex mod over there ;)
  3. Nice one mate. Now get yourself over to my "other" forum ;)
  4. I just wired in 2 x 3smd led strips into each one.

  6. I have one Lee, but it's in the lock up in Stockton and I'm on my way to Edinburgh at the moment. Sorry I can't help.

  9. Evening folks. The 5th LakeZ is getting ever closer. It will take place once again in Cark in Cartmel, Lake District. Post Code is - LA11 7NU The format is to remain the same as last year for the most part. Below is a map of the area. Upon arrival, All Zeds can head to the Village Hall car park. You will be directed by myself or another member of the staff to a location to park. Please pay close attention to them and follow there directions as best as possible. We have a limited area with which to work, so need to do some crafty parking to ensure everyone fits on. If you do not plan on going anywhere in your Zed at all for the entire weekend, if you could please inform us upon arrival as we can then park you in a such a way that it isn't a problem if you are blocked in. Once again, camping is free this year. The Rose and Crown will be selling food on the Friday evening, and it is advisable to call ahead and book a table! A number of people were disappointed last year as the Pub was unable to accommodate them because they hadn't called ahead. Saturday night there will be either a BBQ or Buffet in the Village Hall. Tickets for this will be available from the Village Hall bar on the Saturday evening. There will be a drive out organised for the Saturday for those who would like to experience some of the local roads. There will be Karting organised (for a fee) at a local karting track. There are plenty of things to do in the local area, including a steam railway and the various other attractions of the Lake District. As always, any question prior to the event that PM me. Any questions during the event, then ask around and someone will point you in my direction.
  10. Standard in the new Juke Nismo RS.

More than welcome to pop by. Non Zed cars won't be allowed into the Village Hall car park though so you will need to park in the village and walk up the bank. I'll be posting up the usual details in a new thread soon.
  12. Last weekend in June. There's info in the National Events sub forum.
  13. There's a few of us NE owners kicking around. Need pics! There's a big gathering of Zeds in the Lake district at the end of June which a lot of us NE owners attend. It's a full social weekend. You should bring the car to that. This will be the 5th year of LakeZ and I don't think we've had a Z31 there yet.
  14. Look in the national events sub forum. I have put LakeZ details in there. You may struggle to find accommodation local to the venue this late on in the year, especially as there is a horse meet at Cartmel races on the same weekend. There may be some B&Bs still available, but most likely these would be outside of Cark. Although the Engine Inn in the village still had one room left a few weeks back.
  15. It honestly depends on what you prefer. Do you prefer single day events where it is just show? Do you prefer one make/model events? Do you like weekend events? Camping? Do you want to track the car? For me, LakeZ is the one I won't miss. But that's because I know many of the people who go and I assist in organising it. It is also a very relaxed and informal social weekend. Some folk think JAE is the be all (I'm not one of them, but each to their own). Le Mans is an epic trip if you go with a group of like minded folk. Personally I don't think there is a single great event in the UK. They all (mostly all anyway) have their merits.
  16. The 350z guys had a good turn out to this. I think there's some pics on the FB group.

I'll try an knock one up later this week. But I may not have the time. I'll let you know if I manage it

Camping on site is free. Although we do have limited amount of space so please don't bring a mansion of a tent!
  19. Plastidip finish is inconsistent and doesn't last. It's also been known for windscreen wash fluid to mark or even dissolve it. You could use a satin clear coat over satin black if you wanted to give it a shade of depth.
  20. Go for a Satin black to try and keep the OEM look.
  21. MPSS are just about the best out there at the moment, and Tyreleader had them at good prices for 19's last I looked.
  22. You would likely be better off getting yourself a custom set up done by someone local to you. I am assuming that a genuine OEM Z31 exhaust is like finding a unicorn.
  23. Managed to get an hour spare and dropped in the new Bosch S4 battery. Fired up instantly after sitting in a garage since October. Battery tray has somehow broken loose though, so will have to sort that out. I'm hoping to have a few hours give her a once over on Friday and may even tax it.
  24. Ian - Have a chat with Grundy here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/96045-trax-2015-club-stand-price-update/ He may be able/willing to extend the 350z stand by 5-10 cars.
