Fitting wind deflectors
Don't need them, personally I think they are pointless and just creates an area that's hard to clean.

Slight panic then an adjustment to the hand brake shoe I slipped the disc on for measure. Then popped the calliper on. Only need to properly attach the brake lines then wheels on. That's the first job for tomorrow morning then I can finally get the zed off the ramps to work on the door rubbers.

O' what a day. Its been a long and hard day but I've managed to get 90% of the back end reassembled. Starting off with the pain in the ass knuckles and hub I made a few rookie mistakes getting them back together, first I lost the bolts, then I got the left and right sides mixed up then I put the whole lot together again and left out the handbrake / metal dust shield that needs to be sandwiched in-between. More time wasted on these hubs than the time it took to do the rest. As I've got big brakes I drilled out the spot welds to get rid of the outer shield part. Before I put the hubs back on I attached all the new parts to make it easier rather than grapple each part as I went. All bolted up now and ready to build the hand brake shoes. I must say every time I mention I job I don't want to do along comes another. This time it was the hand brake shoes; even with having an actual copy of the manual they are a royal pain in the tits.

Its been 4 weeks nearly since the rear hubs were removed and the knuckles dismantled. At the time I had real issues getting the bushes off but after much bashing in a vice and the help of a blow torch I've managed to burn the bushes out and also press the two hicas ball joints out too. Not the nicest job I've done and I've plenty of cuts and bruises on my hands to go. Both knuckles are now de bushed and ready for a clean up. Stuck them in the sand blaster unit and they come up nice and clean A little bit of grease to assist and a rubber mallet helped get the new poly bushes in place. Still got two to press in but left them at home so that will have to wait.

Shipping an interior
Paisley Freight is just a white label booking company and they have to follow the rules of the contractor. At the moment they use TNT for everything.

Plans for the new zed cave have started
I don't mind seeing all the wires, long as everything is in straight lines and organised it looks great.

Shipping an interior
Also best way to ship them is put them on there sides facing each other then slot the back seat rest in the middle and but the bucket part on top.

Shipping an interior
Stick them all on a pallet, likely no more than £70. I shipped my seats down to Mondo two years ago to get them recovered.

Yes, But I wanted the industrial look and would have went down the metal pipe conduit if it wasn't a pain in the arse to bend and cut. The last thing I wanted was white trunking stuck all over the place.

And we have power :) Its taken me a day and a bit to wire up the lights and sockets then hook the main line to the house. Only got two 6ft led strip lights in at the moment but I've wired the place for 6 with a switch that can turn each row off separately. Still to wire the water heater, outside sockets and also utility sockets for the likes of my compressor. Lots of tedious work but it pays off and is nice and bright.
