Intercooler and piping was completed yesterday so I moved onto the oil cooler and hoses today. Used the same two Mocal radiators from my last build as I've completely removed the AC on this build too. Forgot to fit the oil hard lines prior to fitting the bovs and piping to the left so a bit of bodgery to get it fitted. As I managed to damage the steering pot hard line again I've used a small radiator to cool that line just in front of the larger cooler for the engine.

Not really a build update this one but last week I managed to get the internet cable routed up and now I have a spare pc and a large monitor setup so that I can lookup anything zed related and catch-up on the forum without having to come back in the house.

New intercoolers were fitted a long time ago but I originally had issues fitting the rubber piping. This time I took the intercoolers back off and used some brute force and lube to get the pipes fitted. After getting the pipework on I lifted the intercooler into place and tightened everything up.

Been a few months nearly since my last update but its not been the greatest of weather and my garage is usually in the minus temperature range. Anyways todays task was to get the intercooler piping all hooked up and secured aswell as the original bovs.

Its not really a spring but bent piece of metal that pushed outwards against the petrol flap. Open the flap and bend it slighty back so that when closed it applies more force on the flap. Pictured here in the middle :

The piece of metal that acts as a spring to open it bends. Take it off bend it back so that it's applying more force on the flap when closed. Done that to mine and it's now like an ejector seat flap.

Got that already Jeff, thanks. But what colour is that ? dark grey or black ? I would like the black thicker carpet i used to have along with the thicker boot carpet. My last one succumbed to dampness and had to throw it out because of the smell. The carpet in my 96TT is of much poorer quaility and is a grey colour.

Simon how did you figure out the part number for the carpets, and is this one black ?

Have you not seen my banner at the top of the site? I do various web hosting packages that can host any content you want. But doing myself out of a new customer you are better upgrading your subscription here and hosting it with us. Unless of course you want to host it for other uses.

Hi all, Seen as photobucket doesnt let you host and display your own content elswhere without paying i've done some cleanups on a few signatures. Simply put if you had photobucket hosted signature that is clearly broken we will remove it for you. Not that i'm against photobucket and there crappy new policy but we dont need them having 50+ banners splattered accross our club. So if you have a broken signature that needs fixing and dont know how to fix it give me a PM. Or even better Subscribe and let us host your pictures. Cheers Lee

Hi Mate, If this is what you want then i'm sure the club can refund those involved. I will suspend your trader status when you confirm this again and when you feel the time is right then you can upgrade again. Not sure what was discussed regarding posting pictures up but as long as People don't ask for business then its just pictures. The Mod Squad will edit any unforeseen posts prompting you for business. Its only a trial and we may ditch it shortly. People wanted to donate to a cause yesterday and I thought it would be a way to track it all. To be honest anyone can donate directly to our paypal address at anytime. On this occasion the member base made the call to donate not us, I just implemented a way to control it easier.

This is now active and will be treated for the moment as in 'Active Testing'. The general idea is to allow any user to Donate towards the Club on behalf of a Trader. For fairness I think that the funds go to traders who are already established and have 1 year under the belt. On the index page you will now see a 'Contribution Goal' towards the bottom of the page. This is currently set at £200 to cover the year as a general target of 5 x the base fee of £40. But if a Traders base fee is paid then you can if you wish Donate to other addons like a personal section or banner. Your donation can be anonymous but we need to know which trader you are putting the funds towards. Each active trader now has a donate button under there names and also a new Donate button has been add uptop. I hope this system works out as it may keep the Traders we all love active for much longer. Regards Lee

And just to piss him off even more, the banner is now enabled as another anonymous donation of £15 was made. Better get sewing buddy as lots of new customers coming your way ! After the group buy is done with of course :)

I don't have access to the paypal system to create specific paypal donation links. Nothing stoping you from paypal over as a gift funds to the club on behalf of a member. :) You just need to ensure that you note the cause of the transaction then PM or email one of the committee. Call it a Gift Card which the Traders can cash in. I've raised this point with the committee and we will see if its a viable method. :)

We can easily setup a donation link, if the member base wishes to pay in part or in full for a Traders subs. I'm happy to donate to the cause myself and i'm sure more will follow. If you all feel that giving back to our Traders in this method is suitable we can setup separate nominated links. For anyone wishing to donate for Mondo currently please don't use the current setup membership process as you will only turn yourself into a Trader.
