  1. Its been 4 weeks nearly since the rear hubs were removed and the knuckles dismantled. At the time I had real issues getting the bushes off but after much bashing in a vice and the help of a blow torch I've managed to burn the bushes out and also press the two hicas ball joints out too. Not the nicest job I've done and I've plenty of cuts and bruises on my hands to go. Both knuckles are now de bushed and ready for a clean up. Stuck them in the sand blaster unit and they come up nice and clean A little bit of grease to assist and a rubber mallet helped get the new poly bushes in place. Still got two to press in but left them at home so that will have to wait.
  2. Paisley Freight is just a white label booking company and they have to follow the rules of the contractor. At the moment they use TNT for everything.
  3. I don't mind seeing all the wires, long as everything is in straight lines and organised it looks great.
  4. Em, no he's not as he's not subbed. :whistling:
  5. Christ it's too cruel to let that abomination live on. Please put it out of its misory.
  6. Also best way to ship them is put them on there sides facing each other then slot the back seat rest in the middle and but the bucket part on top.
  7. Stick them all on a pallet, likely no more than £70. I shipped my seats down to Mondo two years ago to get them recovered.
  8. Yes, But I wanted the industrial look and would have went down the metal pipe conduit if it wasn't a pain in the arse to bend and cut. The last thing I wanted was white trunking stuck all over the place.
  9. And we have power :) Its taken me a day and a bit to wire up the lights and sockets then hook the main line to the house. Only got two 6ft led strip lights in at the moment but I've wired the place for 6 with a switch that can turn each row off separately. Still to wire the water heater, outside sockets and also utility sockets for the likes of my compressor. Lots of tedious work but it pays off and is nice and bright.
  10. Belated Happy Birthday Allan, all the best bud.
  11. disciplines banned for spamming.
  12. not yet, also the front support bar isn't in place.
  13. Bumper fits perfect without any adjustment needed. Although the air ducts are not in place.
  14. Tried connecting them up first then bolting them in and the pipes seem to stretch off and are at the wrong angle.
  15. One of the issues I've came across with the new intercoolers is the stock pipes don't reach properly. So looks like i'll have to order some silicon versions.
  16. Few more jobs ticked off the list today. First was to get the plexi panel back on; managed it without snapping the bugger. Next was to fit the spoiler again, so bit of black sticky stuff and a few bolts it sits nicely on the back. Next job was fitting the new intercoolers. It was a pain in the arse finding bolts that fitted as they were all too long, but in the end I padded them out with a few washers.
  17. I wouldnt say it very tight, its nice fitting but its made of a stretchy material so likely can go further. I dont have the glass fitted yet so it dips in at places and sags. This is an interior cover only and isnt water proof, its just for keeping the dust off.
  18. http://www.care4car.com Its a large. http://www.care4car.com/car-exterior-accessories/cosmos-indoor-soft-breathable-car-cover.html#.WYMLFuQUiUk
  19. Heading in again tonight for a few hours so hopefully i'll get the spoiler on and the tailgate plexi part done. The zed is currently stuck on the ramps untill i get these knuckles fixed with new bushes and the oil seals replaced.
  20. And that's me just back. Not done as much as I wanted but at least some jobs got done. First off was I fitted the new steering control arms. Worked on the wheel alignment a bit to try fix the wonky steering angle I somehow managed to get. Also got the door rubbers on followed by the wing mirrors.
  21. Heading over the the working garage in an hour so have a few jobs to do on my list. Thinking of fitting my spoiler, tailgate plexi / brake light, wing mirrors. Also bought two new front steering rods to complete my new front setup. Still awaiting the polybushes from Driftworks but royal mail has theme at the moment.
  22. KSPORT all round on mine, not that i need extra strong brakes but with large 19" wheels normal discs look out of place.
  23. Dont trust it unless you get the cash done as a bank transfer, Paypal accounts can be stolen and payments reversed days after the payment has gone through.
  24. Got Ksport on mine and easy to fit, although my build is in progress so be a few months before i try them proper.
  25. Reg number is 'J235 DYL' for anybody who wants to run a check on it.
