Don't need them, personally I think they are pointless and just creates an area that's hard to clean.- New Nissan

Slight panic then an adjustment to the hand brake shoe I slipped the disc on for measure. Then popped the calliper on. Only need to properly attach the brake lines then wheels on. That's the first job for tomorrow morning then I can finally get the zed off the ramps to work on the door rubbers.- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
O' what a day. Its been a long and hard day but I've managed to get 90% of the back end reassembled. Starting off with the pain in the ass knuckles and hub I made a few rookie mistakes getting them back together, first I lost the bolts, then I got the left and right sides mixed up then I put the whole lot together again and left out the handbrake / metal dust shield that needs to be sandwiched in-between. More time wasted on these hubs than the time it took to do the rest. As I've got big brakes I drilled out the spot welds to get rid of the outer shield part. Before I put the hubs back on I attached all the new parts to make it easier rather than grapple each part as I went. All bolted up now and ready to build the hand brake shoes. I must say every time I mention I job I don't want to do along comes another. This time it was the hand brake shoes; even with having an actual copy of the manual they are a royal pain in the tits. - Spot the difference part 2
