One more thing ticked off the list. Rear glass is now fitted with new trimmings. I've left the quarter glass off for the moment as i'm going to get the tints redone first as they have a few scores on them.

For the first time in just under a year I will be unable to support the forum from just after midnight until 3AM. I'm so sorry but my focus will purely be on a 50' wide screen watching :

Cruise Control
Not easy, Tried it a few times but generally zeds without cruise are missing essential parts in the loom to make it all work. I've added the ECU and also the steering controls to turn it on and off and on my zed I can here the relays click but after that the cruise plug in the engine bay is missing and also the connectors under the dash.

Wondering this too. They have had a huge stand for the last few years and usually have less on it than what we show.

Working with a £20 budget to get this engine cleaned so went to the local kwik-e-mart. Never would I have thought 5 minutes later I would be walking out the door with a Big-D. Big-D as in Oven Cleaner. :) Bought a few cans and its great for removing all the built up carbon inside the block.

JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
Not had an update for a month and a bit so here goes : Due to the caps for the cams locking out when torqued and also a few other issues I've had to source replacement cam blocks. Many thanks to Mikeybean for supplying these at a very reasonable cost. Back to my rebuild and the blocks are layer caked in all kinds of crap so I've completely striped them down and organised all the parts to go back in order later to ensure no issues this time round. I've had to steep them in a soapy solution for a few days then rinse them off a few times. I've been using an engine degunk solution on them which has lifted away a lot of the crap but the carbon on the inner sections remains. I would prefer a deep clean but funds are nearly non existent so does anyone know of anything I can steep the blocks in for a few days. My brother suggested diesel but never heard of that before. So far I've manually scoured over the head area with soft brillo pads to get rid of the old gasket and also clean the valve areas. Any other suggestions ?

Lol, funkypower is my mates, they may list it but not sure they would have it. More likely have to order it in at cost.

Lancaster Insurance - A Warning
Yes, Loads, I had to send them about 30 or so pictures to cover everything I did along with all my current receipts. Everything from the new wheels, suspension, new rubbers all round, interior, engine, new spray job, all the arms for suspension linkage etc I currently have an agreed valuation of 10k for the build i'm doing as its not complete, after which its to be re-evaluated.

Lancaster Insurance - A Warning
Been with them for a few years and I have my agreed valuation with them too. Never had an issue and they are always prompt with updates and policy changes when I need them.

You can add them in later by adding the stock boost sensor and changing the clocks.
