What a day I've had. Started with a road trip from Troon to Shildon ; a cool 170 miles each way and 7 hours driving. The trip was to collect my new interior freshly upholstered by our very own Trader Simon. The trip itself was fairly boring but its what I done when I got it all back which was exciting :) Screw drivers at the ready as I decided to fit it all. So here are a selection of pics I've taken 20 minutes ago when I finished for the night ;

Looks like I will be doing another road tip this Saturday :) News in that my interior is ready and awaiting for collection. Decided to keep it as close to oem as I could with a little red stitching to match the red on my leather seats. So its grey alcantara with red stitching :)

I knew there would be a limit, but only need a fraction of a millimetre I believe. You got any info on the safe margins that can be taken off.

Not had an update for a while as I've been busy with work and other stuff. Things have slowed down considerably on my build the last few months but news that my interior will be ready shortly is getting my heart racing again. Apart from the interior the engine needs sorted and I've cleaned the heads as best I could but I've decided to get them cnc'd and make them like new again. Fee pics of them before I send them off, they look clean enough but there is alot Of bur marks across the surface which needs sorted first.

Perfect, I'll take it long as none of the inner plastics are damaged. Your a long distance from me so pm me what you want and I'll drive down and collect.

I'm off all next week. I'm doing a road trip on Mon / Tues to see Simon but after that any day is good.

So parcel force have gave up and sent me a claim form. I've had to organise my own collections from both customers. Worse news is one is in Germany.

So I had two large parcels to be sent out yesterday going to two very different areas of the country. The first going to the International Shipping Depo for Ebay and the other going a bit further down south. Today I received an email from my customer stating that parcel he received was not his; so much so that it never even had his name or address on it; Just a Parcelforce tracking barcode. The second parcel is now at some massive warehouse owned by ebay with no way to contact them they are not the named end party where the parcel is suppose to be going. Now trying to sort out this logistical nightmare with the couriers and the first thing they ask is can I take pictures of both parcels to prove they are delivered incorrectly. Argghhhh !!
