  1. Great to see you keeping the Zed faith! What stand alone ECU are you using?
  2. I'm after a drivers seat to temporarily replace the one I have fitted during the respray. I'm not bothered by the condition so long as it will bolt down in place and is sound. If you have one to spare I would be very grateful. I can return after use if required.
  3. SC, as someone in the motor trade would you give us your interpretation of the record you posted in relation to L69 RKW. I also noticed that the MOT history record for L69 RKW gives a fail in Feb '14 for "Rear registration plate fitted to the rear does not have black characters on a yellow background (6.3.2b)". Could the car been imported from Republic of Ireland which have black on white rear number plates?
  4. Well considering you are doing all this work outside in the middle of winter I'm well impressed Russ! Will be great to see the car again back on the road this year.
  5. Thought I recognised the car. https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?188336-Uk-Z-sale
  6. Considering how much other Z32 spares can cost, this is amazing value for a brand new updated gearbox: https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-98-spec-manual-transmission-assembly-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-tt-z32-32010-54p21-kt_p_813.php https://www.z1motorsports.com/manual-transmission/nissan/98-spec-tt-manual-transmission-speed-p-1684.html
  7. What's involved is in the FSM pages posted above.
  8. They will go nicely with the BDE intake pulleys.
  9. Marc, for your reference these are the FSM pages and Owner's manual (LHD) for the convertible roof: BF 796-800.pdf 1993 OM Nissan 300ZX p63-71 Convertible hood.pdf In addition this is a Technical service bulletin issued for convertibles: NTB92-092_1OC23_CONVERTIBLE_CAR_WASH_AND_REAR_WINDOW_CLEANING_POLISHING_PROCEDURES.pdf
  10. The diff used in the TT Z32 is a R230. This info may help: https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?114740-r230-diff-ratios&p=1116685&viewfull=1#post1116685
  11. There be something in your spelling Nick! Nice gear BTW, not many folk running that kit.
  12. I'm after a pair of OEM Engine slingers. Part#'s 10006-30P10 and 10005-40P10.
  13. Correctly fitting ducts are an important (and often overlooked) part of getting the most out of larger than stock intercoolers. Air will follow the path of least resistance and it is important to direct (force) the air over as large a part of the intercooler as possible. This is particularly the case as the intercoolers sit in front of what is essentially a box with a NACA duct at the bottom as the only exist for the air after it has passed through the intercooler. I remember reading an article (which I now can't find) that the difference in cooling efficiency for intercoolers on a Z32 with and without full ducting was in the order of 30%. I used Stillen ducts for the HKS intercoolers which covered the entire face. I also needed to modify the indicator housings to clear the ducting (the rear bulb holder). The picture shows a full face Stillen duct and intercoolers.
  14. Putting your name down for one area dosen't preclude you from participating the other area.
  15. If you can use one of the replacements shown above, you will find it very useful to transfer the offset filler over (arrowed). Assuming it will fit the new CMC it will give you much more space to get the cap off when filling. Things are tight in that area. Also, I'm not clear what the "bottom seal" means. Is fluid leaking from the union (arrowed) with the flex pipe and the CMC or leaking from the back of the CMC, seen from inside the car?
  16. Going back to the beginning, what's actually the problem with the one you have?
  17. Yes, this is a big one for the Club: https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-japanese/
  18. Have you tried cleaning the optics? It makes a big difference even with Halogen bulbs. Not mine, but you get the drift...
  19. If it's a NA MS then this looks to be the same: https://zcentre.co.uk/index.php/shop/clutch-and-flywheel/300zx-nissan-oem-clutch-master-cyl-non-turbo
  20. If it's a TT MC, only available from Japan: https://jp-carparts.com/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=132&fig=305A&part=3061045P00&page=1
  21. Thanks for dropping by!
  22. Not taking any chances with that new paintwork then.
  23. Why wait till tonight? Cheers!
  24. Spead the word Barry - all welcome!
  25. I can help you with that Ash: https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?190201-New-to-the-club&p=1987376&viewfull=1#post1987376
