You have to remember that by the late '90s Nissan was pretty dysfunctional organisation with huge debts and poorly performing sales across the board. I doubt any money was made from the revised Z32 models with Nissan projecting monthly sales volume of 100 units a month.

The photo looks deceptive as to the condition close up. Unfortunately there are numerous chips, scratches, shopping trolley dings and poor resprays (most of which happened before I bought the car from Nissan).
