  1. Not much deterence in the 6 penalty points and a £200 fine for using a phone whilst driving then. Anyway, looking forward to some pics.
  2. You have to remember that by the late '90s Nissan was pretty dysfunctional organisation with huge debts and poorly performing sales across the board. I doubt any money was made from the revised Z32 models with Nissan projecting monthly sales volume of 100 units a month.
  3. The photo looks deceptive as to the condition close up. Unfortunately there are numerous chips, scratches, shopping trolley dings and poor resprays (most of which happened before I bought the car from Nissan). So as a thank you for 21 years of fantastic ownership she is getting a full makeover. I know the standard I'm aiming for as there are other cars in the Club who have made the grade.
  4. Took the car out for a run in the sun today before she gets stripped down for the trip to Kraftworks for the full monty respray next month. The garage is going to feel *very* empty next month but I know the results will be worth it!
  5. Mark at the GTR-Registry.com is working on extracting all the records for JDM cars from FAST and will put them up on his site when done. I'm not aware of any information giving precise days/weeks, but you will be able to tell when the car was built relative to the others built that month.
  6. Well it's showing as insured on AskMID but failed its MOT back in September last year.
  7. To help you loocate a new BMC, based on your car being a GCZ32 TT Automatic built in Dec '90 (remember I don't have a VIN that works from you). These are these are the part#s. 46010-40P02 (BM57 17/16 made by Tokico) or 46010-40P22 (BM57 17/16 made by Nabco). Interchangeable parts. https://nissan.epc-data.com/fairlady_z/gcz32/6035-vg30dtt/trans/460/46010/?frame_no=GCZ32-518549&d1=9012
  8. You're right - that's the part# listed here: https://nissan.epc-data.com/fairlady_z/gcz32/6033-vg30dtt/trans/462/46201B/?d1=8908 http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/er_z32/1993_11/type_1/brake/brake_piping_and_control/illustration_1/ They all look to be the same, no idea what the actual differences are (if any).
  9. Do you mean these? Nissan part#46206-2J00A https://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-462062j00a-spring-lock-bra/ https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-brake-line-spring-clip-nissan-240sx-300zx-350z-370z-infiniti-g35-g37-46206-2j00a_p_3162.php
  10. I did wonder how you had managed to accomodate the shaft seals within the reduced space available.
  11. Did you quote the Booking code - 131922?
  12. A lot of work has gone into that car! The pic links seem to be broken. Are there pictures elsewhere?
  13. Been a long time coming Richard, but worth the wait!
  14. I have a spare Blue and Brown relays if required.
  15. This is the Japanese version: https://nissan.epc-data.com/fairlady_z/gcz32/6033-vg30dtt/electric/252/?d1=8908 The ACC and Rear defogger relays look to be the standard (for a Z32) Blue SPST and Brown DPST relays respectively.
  16. If you decide to replace the crossmember, these are the experiences of one of our members: https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?184923-Radiator-cross-member-replacement-day-one These are the pages from the 300ZX body repair manual: 300ZX Body Repair Manual pages 49-50.pdf
  17. Do you mean the part arrowed?
  18. And a much more favourable cost of ownership!
  19. Here (scroll down to calculator): https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/cable-sizing-selection.html
  20. Booked in! Very much looking forward to the weekend.
  21. Well it does say "out of tank" on the box, so not such an odd question! 22A using automotive 12awg (nominal 3mm²) over 4m will give you a voltage drop of 1V. Nominal rated max load for 3.0mm² is ~27.5A.
  22. How far will the pump be from the battery?
  23. That's great news Russ - watching you nursing your car back to health has been inspiring. Onwards and upwards!
  24. Looking forward to the photos of your work Iain - well done!
