The connector for the high beam bulb in the photo is for an H4 adapter to H1 bulb.

It needs to be enough to fully engage the clutch plate and to allow the pressure plate mounting flange to properly sit on the lower part of the flywheel.

Just had a call from the bodyshop - Blue paint going on this week and all being well car should be ready to come home in two weeks time!It's a bit odd that 1 BDN is recorded on an AUDI 8 whose MOT expired 18 October 2011 when the car advertised with the same plate was in storage for 18 years. https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/Keeping them blue Chris.Thanks for the update Gary. They are very busy though. Does your car actually need a respray? The VG30DETT engine is over engineered with forged crankshaft and rods (not pistons though) and with a boost controller and revised ECU map will safely take the increase in power.
