  1. I've had very good results with TK3 paint supplied by these folks: http://www.paints4u.com/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=5423 They can supply AJ4.

  3. I'm working down from the last UK spec to the first. About 10% of the way.
  4. Right now it's a spreadsheet I'm slowly building up with the details of all the 1548 UK specs imported by Nissan with a view to getting a picture of how many are still on the road and what's become of the rest.
  5. This is the Nissan FAST record for the car (build date August '94). It is a federal emissions controlled vehicle (no exhaust gas temp sensor - error code 35). I suggest when you get the car imported you check the ECU fault codes for yourself to see what is recorded.
  6. Do you know where the car was first registered in the US - California or Federal (outside California)?
  7. When you have a minute would you PM me the car's VIN so that I can update my "UK spec" registry? Nice to see another UK spec in the Club.
  8. The washer motors have a habit of letting go (especially after frost damage). Your SWB has one here:
  9. Have you tried pairing your iPhone with another bluetooth enabled speaker or headphone device to see if the ‘schsing’ is still present?
  10. That's with the lower plenum torqued down on the head(s)?
  11. For a Z32 - you have a link to that?
  12. That's correct. In principle yes. I'm not aware of anyone who has done it though. Why are you wanting to go from the dual MC F/R system (with built in redundancy) to a single output?
  13. What make of head gasket is being used?
  14. Any witness marks on the old piston crowns?
  15. There is not a lot of difference between the UK and JDM/US brackets apart from a longer middle section and mounting tabs at each end. The sections that mount the lamps themselves are the same. You could therefore start off with a good s/h or new JDM/US bracket and cut and adapt to fit the wider UK spec bumper holes and fixings. That's what I plan to do.
  16. Part# 96250-37P00 Bracket-licence lamp (item 1 below). As far as I know (and I have looked) they are NLA.
  17. It will generate a tone which I doubt I would hear, but more importantly the controller returns the boost level automatically to the stock level and stays like that until the throttle is lifted. That I would notice, but in all the years the HKS has been fitted it has never kicked in. Why would your old controller over boost on cold days?
  18. My HKS controller lives in the glove box fixed to the top surface. Set to 1 bar maximum boost, I treat it as a "fit and forget", so don't need to see it when driving. It also reduces the temptation to play around with settings...
  19. Thanks for organising the day Howard, it was a lovely day out. We had one of the best locations at Beaulieu to display the cars which was nice! Just a couple of pics of 1547 and one of Howard's on the way home. Looking forward to next years SJ.
  20. Would it be giving some lip to ask what it is?
  21. All looking good Nick! When is it all coming home?
  22. Well I watched BJ's speech made outside No10 yesterday and experienced something I've not felt in the 3 grinding years of TM's disaster as PM - Optimisim! I found myself smiling. [video=youtube;-eks6rPW-to]
