Intercoolers
Just make a cutout in the duct to clear the indicator body. This is Stillen duct, and you can see the cutout.

Intercoolers
The stock ducts will fit using the mounting points on the IC, but unmodified they will not cover the entire face which rather defeats the exercise. The photo shows a stock 99 spec duct to illustrate the point.

Refit Carbon Canister
The R33 CC's are the smaller types to get.

Yes, I did - then I put one back in! https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?172676-Refit-Carbon-Canister

Once you have removed the CC, there is plenty of space behind the IC with the stock overflow tank in place.

Manual gearbox issue
Worth considering this: Z32 5-speed: 1st - 3.214 2nd - 1.925 3rd - 1.302 4th - 1.000 5th - 0.752 Diff - 3.69 TT or 4.08 NA Z33 6-speed: 1st - 3.784 2nd - 2.324 3rd - 1.624 4th- 1.271 5th - 1.000 6th - 0.794 Diff - 3.538 Z32 1st is already pretty low and top gear on the Z33 is even taller than the Z32.

What point are you trying to make here? I'm not defending Ash's business practices here, but I do respect his technical competence. Unlike nearly all the "competitors" making similar "designs" (read copies in most cases of his products), he did back up his designs with extensive testing and published them on TT.net.

They are different core sizes.

Front speaker size (non Bose) and door card removal
In my experience all 6.5" speakers when using the OEM metal speaker brackets Mike. The MDF spacer rings (RW-SR-16) need routing to create a chamfered 45deg edge to them to fit. If you don't have a router I will do them for you. The guide looks good. Take care when removing the window switch escutcheons othewise you can break the plastic spring tabs that clip them in place

For example? I guess that's why SZ have invested and made their own version of the AshSpec Massives then? https://www.specialtyz.com/sz-smics.html http://www.ashspecz.com/shop/prodInfo2.php?prodID=17

JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
Despite the huge setbacks you have encountered Lee, you keep going. Very impressive to say the least. Watching you single handedly manhandling the heavy bits of your car with speed and precision makes me think you would have probably been pretty good at this!

Manual gearbox issue
What - going from 2nd to 5th? Have you tried Redline MT-90? My gearbox became noticeably smoother after about 1000 mile run in.

import vin build info?
Yes, this site seems to be running off the FAST database: https://nissan.epc-data.com/fairlady_z/ Put the full VIN (ie GCZ32-521756) into the search field.

Power steering pot and HICAS unit refurb
Personally I would leave it alone - the system is working. Why make more work for yourself? I just cleaned everything up with a brass wire brush and lightly oiled.

Possibly, however the first one sold for £64.

Series 2 seats....
When my car went for spraying I was kindly lent a spare driver's seat. The seat connector was different so I made up a small harness using male and female spade connectors. Not the prettiest but did the job.
