  1. I would take the bumper off so you can see what exactly is going on with the fixings. An OEM bumper is a beige colour in its unpainted state.
  2. I had a rummage and found a photo from 2006... Memory lane eh?
  3. A good opportunity to start your own thread and tell us more about your UK spec.
  4. Here you go, photos from the '91 Tokyo Motor Show launch of the convertible.
  5. I have some photos from the '91 Tokyo Motor Show launch of the convertible. Would you like me to post them here?
  6. You can also fit a TT bumper if you like. It has a different profile (on the front by the Intercooler vents) to the NA.
  7. *VERY* bling as I recall!
  8. No, not really Andy. As it is the top of the Carbing strut rubs (very slightly) on the bonnet insulation (arrowed). It is very tight in there. When you see the strut in place in the engine bay, it is a pretty discreet piece of surgery on the cover.
  9. With the cover fixed in place I partially bolted down the strut and then traced two pencil lines on the cover where the strut crossed. I then made up a wooden support to hold and fix the cover in place (using the four mounting points) in a mitre saw and then cut across the cover to the required depth. The rest of the cutting was done with a fret saw and finished off with files. You can see how tight things are between the cover's red decal and the bottom of the strut in the first photo below.
  10. You seen this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300zx-3-0-V6-Twin-Turbo-Engine-Cover/133202890666
  11. I've not done this myself (so there may be another way). I would take a nylon cord (say ~6mm) and wrap the cord around the appropriate pulleys overlapping the ends enough to mark a permanent marker line across the two sections. Lay the coord flat and measure the distance between the two marks. You could check this technique as you know the stock lengths already in use (they should be marked on the belts).
  12. I don't have the specific part #'s required. However the belt part id's give you the belt's specification. So 4PK925 is a 4 ribbed belt (4) of length 925mm (925). You could work out the lengths required by measuring around the installed ATI pulley and the other pulleys. Gates give the following PK part #'s for stock belts: https://gatesautocat.com/search-results/?search_type=vehicle&page=0&make=NISSAN&model=300+ZX&vyear=1993&fullseries=Z32+3.0+Twin+Turbo+RWD+Coupe&enginecode=VG30DETT&litres=3.0&KW=208&PS=283&enginetype=Petrol&source=result BTW ATI's own web page indicate that all three belts have changed from stock lengths (see overdrive specs note [7]): http://www.atiracing.com/products/dampers/charts/damnissan.htm
  13. Driver's side (RH) is 91750-30P01 (item 53): http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/er_z32/1993_11/type_1/body_front_roof_and_floor/sun_roof_parts/illustration_2/
  14. Without removing the HICAS solenoid and coating it permanently (powder, paint etc) I'm not sure. I've found 3 in 1 works quite well and dosen't attract dirt. You just have to repeat every so often.
  15. In the absence of any other measures, a little 3 in 1 oil smeared over the freshly cleaned metal will help to prevent oxidation.
  16. I found the ones on the left worked quite well for the tight spots (but tended to wear out quite quickly). But they all did the job.
  17. Are you allowed to have rear number plates that fit inside the JDM recesses?
  18. Much better! What did you use to clean it up?
  19. You may need to replace the pod with the wiper switch: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/292996/HELP-Front-Wipers-wont-shut-off--What-do-I-do---gt.html Replies-> http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/640310/When-mine-did-this-I-actually-had-to-replace-the-whole-podgt.html http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/633239/It-one-of-the-fuses-in-the-drivers-side-footwellgtgt.html
  20. Mike, they are in the ebay link I provided above (Type B thread). More examples here: https://www.valuefastener.com/sheet-metal-screwsself-tapping-screws/type-self-tapping-screws-c-100_624_880.html
  21. And starting off with a Euro spec in the video!
  22. Under the FTPA Labour are doing everything they can to stop a general election. Twice the HOC has been asked to vote for a GE and refused.
  23. Just the two (62228-51S00).
