  1. Well done Dave - nothing like a self imposed deadline to focus the mind and activities! See you at Coventry.
  2. Hope you all have a lovely time - enjoy the sun, sea and sangria (or whatever is your favourite tipple)!
  3. I will be travelling to Coventry via the M25 (J6) and M40 and could stop at a suitable point on the way if there are any others who would like to convoy up to the event and plan to go that way round the M25. Journey time for me is estimated at 2 1/4 hours (132 miles) to arrive at the venue by 10am. So I will be on my way by 7am latest.
  4. *** SOLD *** '89 spec third brake light. Apart from missing part of the spoiler mounting (see 2nd photo) the light is in vgc. Complete with sub-harness, but no bulbs. Can bring to Coventry.
  5. *** SOLD *** Windcreen cowl (both sides). Apart from a small crack on the n/s panel (see photo) the cowls are in good condition. Can bring to Coventry.
  6. Genuine '99 spec rear o/s light. Apart from two small areas of "crazing" along the lower edge (see photo) the light is in VGC. Complete with bulbs and sub-harness. Can bring to Coventry.
  7. Have you been working on the car before this event? Under the drivers side dash for example.
  8. Welcome to the Club Peter! What a lovely car you will have and so nice to see it has stayed in the family after the sad loss of your brother. When you know, do let us know the dates for your trip to the UK in September.
  9. Some info on doing the swap from Z1: https://www.z1motorsports.com/upload/Z1%20Z32%20NA%20to%20TT%20Conversion.pdf
  10. First batch, now using a new foundry to cast. "The previous sets from the old foundry required an enormous amount of deburring/deflashing to clean them up to deliverable quality but these manifolds have a much higher finish quality than the originals"
  11. A new exhaust manifold product from AshSpec. Great to see that vendors are still prepared to put the R&D into producing new products for the Z32. Probably best to wait for distributors (eg Speciality-Z) to stock the manifolds rather than getting them direct from AshSpec though. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2609693/AshSPEC-Low-Profile-High-Flow-Cast-Iron-T2-Exhaust-Manifolds.html
  12. Probably wants to bag the prime spot!
  13. Come on show us the photos!
  14. Well done Dave - remember to bring a mirror to Coventry so that we can all admire your handiwork!
  15. If I'm not mistaken the seller is a member of the Club - "see other items"
  16. For Europe, January '94
  17. All credit to you for jumping from a perfectly serviceable aeroplane! And for a very good cause.
  18. Long shot I know but I've seen OEM '89 spec spoilers off old wrecks that are in A1 condition. How or why they have remained that way I have no idea, but they do exist. If you have one or know the whereabouts of an A1 condition I would be very grateful. BTW - I know all about the pros and cons of FG vs OEM so please don't comment on the subject in this thread. Thanks.
  19. This is the problem I have, the other side is the same. The base of the spoiler is more or less in the correct position along the lower edge of the tailgate.
  20. Well the problem I have now is that the supposedly "best on the market" Kuruma Zeta spoiler doesn't fit properly! I've wrestled with the dam thing all morning, shaving here and there but to no avail. The "wings" sit about 3-5mm at their tips away from the tailgate when then main body of the spoiler is in its correct postition. Being fiberglass the won't bend into postion either - what a p*&%$r! I have to say that right now I would fit a another OEM back on. Perhaps the gods are trying to tell me something? The one I have just removed lasted over 15 years which is not bad. And yes Joel, it put up a hell of a fight to get off!
  21. Removed the original OEM spoiler (which had developed a rash under the paintwork from water ingress) in prepartion for the plastic fantastic Kuruma Zeta spoiler which will be prepared and painted before fitment. The remaining spoiler fixing gunk in the picture will be removed.
  22. With Joel on that one. One option from the highly respected Greg Dupree@SpecialityZ: "I am here to tell you that IN MY OPINION it would be better to upgrade your intercoolers and pipes rather than upgrade your turbos if your not going to do both" Full post with further info on that and then adding turbos etc to the mix: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2415470/A-little-info-about-turbos-and-pipes-DYNO-CHARTS.html
  23. The power window amp controls driver's side window. Seperate circuit paths for driver and passenger window motors. FSM circuit diagram: bf-11.pdf
  24. 3,881,099 voted for UKIP at the last GE, that's a lot of sheep!
  25. Bought one of these this year (£59 from Nissan). Last one (also from Nissan) lasted 8 years. They fit the battery sleeve perfectly. Keep the battery on trickle charge with an Airflow battery conditioner when the car is garaged.
