Funkysi seems to rate the Z1's as the best FUCA's available, he'll probably be along shortly to advocate them. They are very expensive though, but you get what you pay for I suppose

You might regret asking this question soon as a long and inconclusive debate is about to take place.....

With ALL the usual suspects joining in with tales of woe. pics of rusted broken ones. "Dont buy ..xxxx buy yyyy"

Etc etc..............................................................................:scared:

The bushes are worn on the nearside to the point i can move it side to side. I also intend to lower the car in the future so want adjistable arms.

Thanks. They are £288 plus shipping where as the standard are £186 i think each plus shipping so still work out cheaper. Unless i am looking in the wrong places haha

I find that CZP is cheaper for shipping than Z1:thumbup1:

These are what you're looking for??

I saw the price difference between concept z & z1 when I bought mine but I still got them from concept z as I find their customer service is excellent. Plus I avoided shipping to the uk so I saved that way.

I have these, they're very good. MUCH better than the awful solid bearing FUCAs and stronger too.

Are yours the ones that people in the US are saying the bushes don't last very long on, Si...?

I've seen two occurrences where that's happened and probably because they fitted them the wrong way round. I have had no such issues. The amount of failures of solid bushed Midori style FUCAs I've seen is extremely high, sure there are more in the market place, but they are known to be troublesome.

Alternatively, Nismo bushes and a 300degree (or equivalent) camber adjustment shim kit.

This would be my suggestion, unless your going LOW or want to regularly change camber you don't really need adjustable upper arms.

The 300 degree camber kits only adjust for around a 20cm drop iirc. All but the Eibach springs go lower than this.

It's only a spacer plate, no reason you can't adapt it to adjust for more. But I get what your saying. When I had a 25mm drop at front I had no correction at all and it was acceptable camber wise, so I'd say you could get away with more than a 20mm drop, 25 year old stock springs could sag nearly that much.

I'm using the Frank de Ruiter Camber Correction Kit (no longer available) with FUCA's rebushed with

Nismo bushes. The CC kit came with instructions which gave the various shim thicknesses required to achieve

different camber degrees (so could be copied). The setup is fit and forget and tough and near to stock ride.

Thanks for sharing Andrew, nice simple engineering. I'm sure if anyone wanted a set Jimmer would be able to create a set.

I had the z1 arms fitted with new oem bolts and nuts and restored brackets. 4 days and 60 miles the bushes are knackered not impressed at all

Had my Z1 FUCAs fitted for a few years and about 5,000 miles and no problems whatsoever. :)

So do you recommend I get them to send me replacements and not my money back? If they actually decide to get back to me
