  1. Nissan designates the variants as different models in their own right, so a TT is not the same model as a NA.
  2. Ahh the "Welly" in Boscastle! Stayed there on hols many years ago. Guy Gibson's (of 617 Sqn The Dambusters) “favourite hostelry”
  3. If the crossmember has collapsed inwards how will you correctly fit the wider replacement if you have welded in the support bar?
  4. Are you holding it the right way up?
  5. Here is a no loss bootspace design... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?172493
  6. Lovely to see someone have a go at making them, well done Chris!
  7. Possibly, you having problems parking?
  8. Best wishes on your Birthday Dave!
  9. If you reconnect the tension rods to the lower suspension arms won't that place a tension onto the lower radiator support before it has been welded back in place?
  10. Muhammad Ali - spellbinding to watch in his boxing prime and one of the finest athletes ever. He had speed, accuracy, stamina and that ability to captivate the crowds with his dazzling skill. When you watched Ali box you knew you were watching something very special. A great speaker and civil rights campaigner he encouraged millions of people to believe in themselves, raise their aspirations, and accomplish things that they might not have done otherwise. He could be recognised anywhere in the world and fill any venue he went to - The Greatest. RIP.
  11. Do you mean the tension rod bracket fixing bolts? Are your front wheels off and the suspension fully relaxed? If so, you can safely undo the bolts. I would remove the tension rods from the brackets and lower suspension arms first and get them out of the way and then undo the brackets.
  12. It is a surprisingly common component (along with the sills) to be damaged by lazy/ignorant/careless third parties when jacking up the car. For example - new tires fitted by a tyre shop.
  13. Here: https://www.z1motorsports.com/hatch-trim-and-moulding/nissan/oem-rear-hatch-mouldings-p-3756.html they are fixed to hatch shell and also used with '89 spec spoiler.
  14. What I was looking for was evidence that the inside surface of the spoiler had been badly finished after the manufacturing moulds had been removed and whether any excess material could be removed by hand to make the spoiler fit.
  15. Where is it fouling on the inside - can you take a photo of the back of the spoiler where it mounts onto the tailgate?
  16. Those three hardlines (arrowed) are part of the carbon canister circuit. You can either junk them along with the CC or relocate using a smaller CC. Remove the hardlines up to the joints with the rubber pipes above. You can sort reconnection/termination later. http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/6901.html
  17. Before you pull the mirrors apart have you tried applying *both* +12v and ground to the appropriate coloured wires? These are the wiring colours and functions of the wires in the jdm mirrors themselves and are not shown in the FSM. Mirror angle motor = Yellow, Violet, Blue Heated mirror = Black, Black Folding Motor = Orange, Pink Source: http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1066651/JDM-Power-Folding-Mirror-Conversion-Long.html (scroll down to Color Code and Harness Install)
  18. I'd love to lay my hands on just a pair of Altia sills so well done in finding all of them!
  19. So when did this happen?
  20. Nick there are plenty of people running around with stock/mapped ECU's running 300hp and above without problems or reliability issues. It all depends on the preparation and setup. For folks like you who are pushing the mechanical, electronics, cooling and fueling limits then yes it can make sense. How much has your new engine management system cost you to install and setup?
  21. For the rear lights I use this stuff and it works fine, compared to OEM sealant easier to the fix lights in place and when removing them. Doesn't damage the plastic of the lights and puts much less strain on the fixing studs as the units are mounted in place. Available from places such as Toolstation it is a non setting rubberised sealant.
  22. Don't waste your money on these. Very poor quality and made out of goodness knows what - manhole covers, garden gates etc.
