What did you do to your zed today?
That's correct - Nissan fixed the problem later in the Z32 production cycle with spring clips which allow for the contraction of the pipes with age. http://www.importpartspro.com/1643916e0a.html

Whats the difference between an S1 PTU and an S2 PTU?
Yes it does. If you flip the S2 PTU over you will see a metal plate. That and the mounting bracket forms the heatsink.

Nissan 300zx needing spolier
Pictures of your car? Import or UK Spec? OEM spoilers have a combination of bolts, screws, plastic clips and adhesive strips depending on the three variations (pictured above) to fix to bodywork. Aftermarket are normally made from fiberglass copies of the OEM and fitted in a similar fashion (without the plastic clips) and use Sikaflex or equivalent adheasive. Quality does vary alot between the makers and is worth asking the about the experience of fitment of a particular copy beforehand.

A golden oldie thread! I'm not suprised you noticed no difference. Series 1 - six power transistors in a box, Series 2 - six power transistors in a box.

Turbo question.
LHD cars had the space for both pre-cats. RHD cars had the space for a pre-cat on the n/s but without costly re-engineering could not be made to fit on the o/s. It was the main reason that with ever tightening emissions regs combined with low sales volumes that Nissan withdrew the cars from sale in the UK in '94.
-
Turbo question.
Eurospec have two precats. UK spec have only one on the passenger side.

Here finally!!
Really? How so? The car was sold at auction with no VIN on the vehicle. So where did the VIN on the export certificate come from?
-
Here finally!!
So where did the VIN you PM'd me come from? FAST gave a match in terms of date of manufacture, AT, colour and trim.

Is Gary Wilson's Zed underrated...?
Thank you Gary, however the difference is that yours is a lovely SWB - a rare bird indeed.

End of year meet,
Joel is referring to the Botley Hill Farmhouse, Warlingham. Very nice pub in the Surrey North Downs countryside, large carpark and as Joel says "extremely delicious burgers"! Details below: http://www.botleyhill-farmhouse.co.uk/

What did you do to your zed today?
The job of the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) is to maintain the fuel pressure in the fuel rail at a constant 43.4psi whilst the engine is running.

What did you do to your zed today?
Why would a closed injector give rise to excess fuel pressure?

End of year meet,
Ash, nice warm country pub in sussex with good parking would be fine. If the weather is poor and/or salt on the roads will leave Zed tucked up but would attend anyway.
