  1. Buy them from a trusted supplier with an excellent reputation, for example Speciality Z.

  4. The Fuel pump controller (ECU) is located behind the passenger seat under the rear quarter trim panel and looks like:
  5. Top Gear rear-wheel-drive challenge '09:
  6. Welcome to the Club Edd and the start of your Z32 adventure!
  7. I did the RLTC install using the above instructions, it includes the wires to tap into near the ABS ECU: 11. Remove the ABS harness connector and splice in sensor wires. In order to remove the blue connector, pull down on the metal tab on the bottom and pull the bottom of the connector out (7.). Carefully cut away some of the black insulation about an inch or two from the blue plastic connector. Locate the following wires which connect to the ABS connector (again, it's best to use a multimeter to make sure it's the right wire going to the right pin): Splice in the Racelogic wires as per the diagram below, do NOT cut the ABS wires in two. Racelogic Wire TO ABS wire red TO brown (8) blue TO blue (l for lavender in the service manual) (11) (23 on at least 95's see note below) yellow TO orange (24) green TO light green (6) NOTE: There are 2 identical brown wires in this harness, one goes to pin 1, the other goes to pin 8. Make certain the brown wire tapped into is the correct one. NOTE: the blue wire on the '95 connector is in slightly different location, see listing above. I think this change is due to the new style ABS actuator on '94+ models. As you asked for the ABS circuit diagram here it is: br-25.pdf
  8. I'll come along to the InCarNation@Brighton.
  9. PTUs are basically six power transistors in a box. They provide the interface between the ECU and ignition coils to handle the higher current (amps) load required by the coils to work.
  10. Repaired with military precision Gary!
  11. Good news Dan!
  12. That will be the D.Speed Salt Flat Special Bonneville.
  13. There can be a seal from the factory, however it was deleted later in the production cycle for cost cutting reasons. My '94 UK spec didn't have one (but did have the threaded holes in the nose panel). I added one later (as above in Andy's post).
  14. That is some recommendation!
  15. From my experience you should be pleasantly surprised at the difference.
  16. If you remove the grill and find a metal bracket then 4x6" otherwise a black plastic Bose enclosure taking 6.5".
  17. Did the Selin status led show that the MAF was faulty? It is a feature of the MK2 versions.
  18. HKS filters are the dry type and are not designed to be oiled. HKS state replace every 6 months or 6K miles. Be wary of HKS filters on eBay as a lot are not what they seem (ie fake).
  19. Ouch! Must be the "LHD specification hence VERY RARE COLLECTABLE SPORTS CAR"...
  20. Very nice and a manual too!
  21. Can those distractions be managed? What would you need to change in your working day to do so? "Having my own workspce away from home wouldn't necessarily increase my productivity" If that is the case, then you will need to put your prices up to cover your additional costs. That means working on projects where the prospects have the perception that a top quality job will cost them more than you are currently valuing your work at.
