There is nothing wrong the speed of the N/A with supporting mods, like i have, however i kinda know what you mean, which is why i want a TT for weekend fun, but continue using the N/A as my daily driver.

Funnily enough, i went to a mitsi garage today for an 80amp glow plug fuse, they wanted £10.80+vat and i would have to wait till tomorrow, so i sorted it myself, they also wanted £98 +vat for the glow plug solenoid, which i got from a scrappy for nowt. I find most main dealers are a complete rip off.

I did my engine and box out on axle stands, the sub-frame needs to be dropped about 4-6 inches to allow the sump to get by, but you can actually release all 4 sub-frame bolts and the steering rack will stop it from dropping to the floor. Obviously take the weight of the engine with the hoist before dropping the frame lol.

You wont fit an N/A speedo sensor in the TT box, you will have to calibrate your clock. Or it may be possible to fit the cogs of the N/A sensor to the TT one, Jeff may be the best person to ask.

Yes mate, just tape the plugs and forget about it. Once deleted, no longer needed and will not affect the ECU

Tiger seal or sikaflex to bond, then use some P40 fibreglass paste to fill the join between the lip and boot, then P38 to level, use a finishing coat to skim after.

15deg in neutral and 25deg when in gear, but i wouldnt bother connecting the neutral switch, i dont like the rev change at idle when im sat at traffic lights, so snipped the wire i did to the ecu.

Hi Mark, i didnt close the thread lol, but my laptop is playing silly buggers lately. I can be typing away and all of a sudden the cursor moves back along the line and sometimes the whole page moves up. It is possible that might have happened, but would have been a one in a million chance of it jumping to the close thread lol.

Miles limited to 5k per year, mods declared ( Alloys, Exhaust etc) its an N/A so no power mods as such, access to another vehicle value 5k.
