  1. :happybday: all the best mate :happybday:
  2. You can use and are probably better off using the auto loom, if you are doing the manual conversion. You will only need to splice in the reverse lights, which is in the grey plug behind the headlight. No other part of those plugs are required. The speed sensor plug is the same for auto and manual and dont bother with the neutral switch.
  3. I used 2 rollls 52sqft and have a few sq feet left and still didnt do the floor in the cabin lol
  4. Check the water hoses to the matrix at the bulkhead, all water pipes at the rear of engine. Air con is refrigerant not water.
  5. The series 4 has this as standard i believe, controlled by the TCU ( time control unit) i know Paul (300zedx) has the feature, his ign ring lights too.
  6. All the best Steve, hope you are keeping well and come and visit sometime.
  7. You can do it online and its registered instantly i believe, so no need to sorn till weds.
  8. Yep stick a pry bar into the teeth of the flywheel and it will jam against the engine stand ( assuming its on a stand)
  9. Im really please for you Dave, worth the work in the end then? Now you can enjoy the zed instead of it consuming you lol
  10. Jesus, the one on the right looks really old. I have the one in between the two lol. The HID's are cheaper than they used to be, i bought some spare bulbs really cheap too.
  11. :xxx: mostly  Is having man flu not a good enough reason for doing fook all :clown:
  12. Welcome to the club and as said zedworld may be able to ship out parts for you, even an engine. Would be nice to get a meet down to Spain and enjoy the sun :sweatdrop::thumbup:
  13. :clap:Congratulations mate to you both
  14. Plasti dip gives a rubberised coating not dissimilar to the original oem finish or you could spray it with normal paint and build up some layers. Either way it will look better than it probably does now lol
  15. Here is a good link, with a link to another diagram in one of the posts http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=288528
  16. Yes plasti dip do a primer, but used an etch primer, same sort of thing, it clings to the part you are spraying.
  17. Sorry Bud, i totally forgot about them, will get on it, ive still got Andy's to do too :sweatdrop: Apart from painting it lol, im glad i didnt get it painted when i planned as i have a few cracks appeared in the kit, so need to sort that out. I suppose not alot on the face of things or compared to others and im sure once i get cracking it will flow, but no energy or enthusiasm at the mo. Its taken nearly two months to get over a viral chest thing and i can nearly taste and smell again, worst cold/flu i ever had lol. I still have a few interior bits to finish off, sort the boot build ( nothing like artztogo lol) just a subtle hide the woofer, polish the engine a bit more as ive neglected it for a few months and a light film has formed  Front lip on the bumper has split again, so need to reinforce it with a bar and re- glass, one halo ring not working, 3 leds in a line of 9 out on my pass side light....... lots of little bits really but its making a start :surrender:
  18. I dont know about you, but i still have so much to do on the zed, but cant drum up the enthusiasm at the minute :hammer: I look at bits that need doing and think, i must do that soon, then i just get in it and drive it :cool3: Im sure once the weather gets a little warmer, i might feel more up to it, but at the moment i just cant be arsed  Dont get me wrong, i love the zed to bits and it will get finished, must be the time of the year  Anyone else feel the same?
  19. I will be doing the pancakes tonight as the other half is bloody useless at making the batter. See, a post with no innuendos :xxx::whistling:
  20. If you have never had them apart before, you should find a few silica pellets floating about in the base of the headlight, these obviously aided the condensation issue. If they are knackered as mine were, put some silica packs in under the plastic bowl, will help prevent condensation in the future.
  21. The TT loom is different to the N/A, but you can use the TT loom on an N/A, obviously boost solenoid etc wiring not used.
  22. :happybday: all the best Marty, have a great day :happybday:
  23. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=plasti+dip&_sacat=0&_odkw=300zx&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313 or http://www.plastidip.co.uk Ive used it on some scuttles and a couple of trims, came out really nice, but have to do it in thin layers.
  24. There are 2 copper looking pins on the rear of the switch in the plug housing, they are the light feed, theres not alot to it really, the copper tracks might need a squirt of switch cleaner. If you have a meter do a continuity test on the pins, ie at the plug input and the bulb base pins.
