  1. Happy Birthday mate, have a good day
  2. Avatar, without a doubt
  3. Separate bulb holder and a red bulb or led bulb in the same housing as the reverse lights.
  4. Yep as above, MJP for new oem bushes, they are only a few quid each, so not worth getting used ones, if you are lucky enough to find them that is lol
  5. When was the last time the fuel filter was changed? could be FPR or fuel damper, you need to see if you are getting fuel from the filter to the fuel rail. Check also the injector connectors for corrosion on the terminals, Temp sensor for the same at least to eliminate some electrical connections Mine runs on fumes sometimes and dont get a problem with the engine running so low on fuel, unless of course yours was so low the pump was pumping some air into the fuel rails. Prime the fuel pump a couple of times before starting, ie: ign lights on but not engage starter and see if that makes a difference.
  6. Well the N/A gets most of its torque higher up the rev band, but im happy with it. Bear in mind that its was an auto before, so i only have that to compare it too. Went straight for the lightened mods when i did the conversion.
  7. Although mines an N/A Dave, i have a one piece lightened prop, i got from the states, lightened flywheel, underdrive pulley, water pump pulley and it makes a hell of a difference to when it was stock. Ask Voddy, i gave him a ride in it just before JAE
  8. same place, faq section lol http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?158042-Drivers-targa-pipe-fix
  9. Accessories top row, down by the drivers accelerator pedal. Does the stereo and boot light work?
  10. Replied in your other post, but the rears are the same, you may need to rotate the top mounts if fitted from another side. As Dave said fronts are handed for the brake pipes.
  11. New forum software is being tested and will be updated when ready, should cure any issues using mobiles.
  12. That is a strange one mate, i must admit my rear bumper seems to fall short of the arch. I put that down to it probably having a little prang in its former life, but looking at the rear light/bumper line, it looks like it actually needs to come further out, which would make it even further from the arch. I havent taken my rear bumper off yet, so cant really help, im sure someone can help though. Good luck
  13. Seriously Alex, you are no where near the wet and dry stage yet, so tell Rose to stop killing herself  I did mine with as much machining as possible ( being a lazy git) and then before the cutting and polishing mops, hit it with wet and dry. As long as you havent taken a load of gouges out of the metal, machine it as much as you can till you feel and see the smoothness, obviously upping the grade for each pass. Mine took me over 60 hours roughly, so hopefully you will take my advice or you wont see Rose again till the summer. Or is that the plan:oops::biggrin:
  14. Yes that looks cool, i might have to persevere with the WW.
  15. Theres quite a difference with that compared to mine.
  16. I think the wings west rear valance could do with something in the middle, not sure what though, dont want it to look like its been stuck on as an after thought, will see if i can have a play in photoshop or grab some ideas. Not something like this though
  17. Have a great time Paul, look forward to the pics when you get back.
  18. Im pleased for you Dave, its certainly not been an easy journey for you lol, glad you are sticking with it. The fun is yet to come, when you can get in, turn the key and just go for a spin.
  19. Engine is more like 250kg's lol
  20. Its an option we are looking into once we have updated the software, which will be coming quite soon.

  23. Hi Guys, The thread was closed at the request of Jeff, so until details can be clarified, we need to wait to hear from Jeff and im sure he will let the members know what the score is. Cheers Graham
  24. I did my own and was lucky enough to buy a spare engine to work on over the year to tart up and replace all the gaskets and the usual service parts and deleted a load of crap it didnt need. Because i also converted to manual, it took an extra few days for the additional modding, plus i cleaned up the engine bay. So most of last year/winter was spent tarting/painting and polishing. I didnt need to rebuild it internally as it came from a known low mileage source, but might have a go on my old engine just for the experience lol. Ive part rebuilt a few engines from other makes of car so not scared to have a go. There is always help available here should you get stuck at any point if you were to give it a go yourself.
